Strong, Easy, and Long-Lasting Repair
I've purchased these hinge repair plates several times, and they've been an excellent solution for repairing damaged cabinet doors. Ultra thin and 99% effective
Excellent multi purpose hardware. I used the plates for a shoe cabinet and a garage can cabinet drawer. They are thin enough to not affect alignment much, but if you use a plate on one hinge/contact point, you should probably do all of them so there aren't alignment problems.

Great concept but metal plate is too thin
This is a brilliant product concept for a common problem with Ikea cabinets. But the metal plate is so thin it barely holds the screws (the ones for attaching the hinge to the plate). I suspect it won't last very long, let's see.

No More Scrambling When Hinge Screws Lose their Grip
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. The hinge screws lost their grip on the particle board. Instead of having to reposition the hinges for a "fresh" surface, the repair plate anchors the screws in their original location. Easy to install, I highly recommend this repair kit if the hinge screws of your cabinet lose their grip. A+++

Worked ...with some adjustments.
It worked, but the original screws from the cabinet side of my hinges were much larger than the holes provided. I had to drill out larger holes to make it work.

Metal to thin to hold hinge or larger door
I do not recomment this product. It did not work for me. The metal on this is very thin and even when I doubled it up the screws for the hinge would not hold tight and metal would warp causing the door to be misaligned.
