Updated: Easy to fit and (now) not so great value
For £10 the lafuma chairs are like new. Really easy to fit. TIP: There are no instructions, so make sure you thread the new lace slowly as you remove the old one so you can match the pattern. Some interesting twists and turns to follow. Money well spent and 30% cheaper than high street. Update: Its now cheaper to buy on highstreet as they have gone up over £5! Dropped a star due to pricing. Update, I'm just buying a new set so I'm kinda wondering why the originals and replacements don't last as long. The cat is going on trial at the end of the week, he is the most likely suspect - although Lafuma laces wouldn't melt in his mouth.

Just check to order the correct lengths, lafuma offer a couple of options.... Perfect fit and all of 5 mins to replace the broken elasticated section.

If you have a LaFuma reclining chair, these laces work great if your original laces break. I have one LaFuma chair with laces, and another with clips. The clips are the more recent model, but I purchased the 2nd one with laces, thinking that it might be more easily repaired than if the one using clips broke. I use the chair for clients, and they love the comfort of it. Some reviews had said the laces had to be pulled very tightly to restring, but I found by pulling tightly, I ended up with a lot of slack, so it really was simple to put on. The chairs are expensive, so I highly recommend having spare laces on hand, just in case, or to get them if a lace breaks. Keep the chair!
