Motorcycle the ultimate Coffee Table book
This is a really excellent book. It traces the history of Motorcycles from before 1920. Of special note for me was the quality of the photography. There is a little text on the various years and it provides an overview, versus in-depth information. I have it on display in my living room for all to see. John

surprised...
Generally I always find and above trust the way amazon packs and sends its...But this books cover got torn right on the left side corner above the DK logo to the left. I have bought a lot of stuff from amazon.com where the packing was really amazing. Was it an affect of .com to .in.

Motorcycle: The Definitive Visual History
This is a large, beautiful, informative book on the subject of motorcycles - couldn't have written a better one myself! The book runs through the development of bikes with plenty of illustrations, verbiage is not too excessive, photographs are plentiful. This book is on par with "Car - the definitive visual history of the automobile", I would recommend both books to anyone interested in these topics.

A great encycolpedia
I bought this as a gift for my Dad who collects old motorcycles. He was super excited to receive it and loved all the pictures and descriptions of many different bikes, some he didn't even know about. the layout of the book is really nice, it's easy to read and well made as most DK books are.
