New programed key for F150
Got key cut at ACE hardware--$5. Because I did not have 2 working keys, I couldn't program it myself. Ford garage did it for $80. It still was better than getting it all from them. Everything works and my headache is finally over!

Only Half Works... Update Now it works.
The key will start my truck but the buttons do not work. Tried reaching out to the company but I cant find any support info other than talking to Amazon who just wants to return it. Update: To get it to work read a review from another person on another key. It works... o get the buttons on the remote to work (which presumably you want, since you ordered a remote start kit) you need to enable them (your vehicle treats them as separate things, as if you have a key fob hanging off a key). There are guides online for this, but for my F-250 it's pretty easy; you leave the drivers door open, hit the unlock button on the door once, then cycle any key 8 times between OFF and RUN in the ignition very quickly (you have less than 10 seconds to cycle it all 8 times), wait for the door locks to cycle, then press any button on EACH NEW KEY you wish to activate (the door locks will cycle each time to confirm), then turn the key in the ignition to OFF (the door locks will cycle a final time). This enables the buttons on your new keys to work (otherwise, it's just a dumb key that starts the ignition and nothing else). For some reason, that last bit isn't included in the instructions for this kit despite being rather important to enable remote start.

Use this process to get your key to work…..
EXPAND THIS REVIEW TO SEE WHAT MADE THIS KEY WORK FOR ME. The info was from another review. “The key will start my truck but the buttons do not work. Waste of money
Got the key cut and programmed. Key will lock and unlock vehicle and will remote start vehicle but when you put the key in the ignition to turn vehicle on it will start and immediately die. Would like to get a refund but that’s not an option. Would not buy and waste your money on the process it takes for it to not work.
