I switched manufacturers this month on this product. Easy to take and smaller so it makes it easier for me to swallow. I will be ordering this again.

Had a kidney transplant and a medication they want me on Iron. This is now on my reorder list because it works good and the prices is awesome.

A good deal, and the pills were easy to swallow. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

I got these as a prescription for a few years. When my insurance changed the price for three bottles skyrocketed. So I looked on Amazon. The single bottle I saw was $8.99 and up. I bought a cheap one, 1,000 for about $7 or so. Only problem was my body didn't absorb the iron. I took a few more (Two 3x a day, versus one 3x.) and the red dye irritated my intestines. I saw this listing, six bottles of 100 for $12.99, and bought them. The $8.99 single bottle listing is still floating around. I live near old mines. All our ground water is full of iron. My body decided to stop absorbing iron at all. With extremely low hemoglobin (At 6 7 for a male. Should be ~14 really.) all I want to do is sleep without supplements and even my old script was $15 for three bottles. So this is double amount, for two dollars less, and this is a great brand. Buy them.

Tablets, not too hard to swallow. Make sure to take with water and make sure they go all the way down because you will have a bad taste if you don’t. I didn’t feel like driving to CVS, Walgreens, Dollar Tree or Dollar General to buy it. As you know instock randomly in general is a problem everywhere. Less so with Amazon. I think the price with free shipping and convenience is good. Although I didn’t do comparison shopping. I think Major is a good brand. My hospital store sells that brand but not the FeSO4. For some reason they changed the color from RED (I bought last) to GREEN. Either way, expect your stool to turn black. I’ve been on it 2x. Black stool happened both times. Yes, I hope NOT to continue taking it! But, until my doctor says stop This is the one I’ll buy again FROM AMAZON, because of in stock, price, and convenience. And yes I would recommend it to a friend per their doctor’s instructions. I wouldn’t take it without medical advice. I’ve got ongoing anemia. If anyone out there knows, The last order I bought 90 days ago the pills were RED, now they are GREEN. Same “MAJOR” brand. Description, bottle, and tablets, look identical other than the color.

I wrote this review because a lot of other people say it works well for them. Not so for me. It backs me up so I think it's not 'stomach friendly' for me.

Delivery was on time and my dad has been using this product for years.

Call me crazy but I think these iron pills have a fun metallic taste to them. Some might not like them but I like the zing almost like I’m getting the real thing
