Snips Microwave Steamer 4 L with 2 Steaming Baskets, Made in Italy

Although I haven't used this item as yet I can see it playing a central part in the cooking of the coming festive dinner. It's a well made item and an adequate size to steam all the veggies I'll need in one go. Well worth the investment.

Good value and price. No problem with steam leak. Use it a lot but just make sure its capacity is enough for you.

Usually have Systema products, but have gone off the steamers lately as the red lid seal keeps coming off and they do not supply them, making them pretty useless. Opted for the Snips model here and was a bit dubious that there was no seal or clip mechanism, but it's not needed as the steam releases via the lid and never builds up pressure. I like the multi layered basket options so you can do more in one go or smaller quantities. Not had any warping issues with ours in the months we have owned it, unlike some people that have reported this, and we use it once or twice a week for steaming potatoes prior to roasting and for the veggies. Very pleased with it and the results are perfect for steamed veggies.

Well made and designed and I would have loved to keep it, but the instructions said that it is only suitable for use in a microwave at a maximum setting of 800W. This was not clear from the product description. Sadly my microwave is 1000W and doesn't have an 800W or 700W setting, so I had to return it. If you have a microwave with the appropriate settings, then it is an excellent product and would be very useful.

This product has been brilliant! Was concerned about heat warping the parts, after reading some reviews before buying this item. However, because I feel they may have been using at 800 watts, I felt best to use at no more than 450 watts. This I have been doing, and it's been brilliant, with all parts still fitting together perfectly. Still steams well, and quickly at 450 watts. Great purchase!

Arrived on time, well packaged. Steamed the vegetables for tonight's dinner. Used both tiers and vegetables came out just how we like them.

Amazing quality! We use this microwave steamer 2-3 times per week for vegetables, for the past 2.5 years. Usually wash this by hand.

Weisse Version edlerer Look. Wird auch zum puren Kartoffel Kochen in der Grundschale mit wenig Wasser verwendet. Stabile Kunststoff Ausführung,auch bei Hitze. Empfehlenswert.

Quando ho deciso di acquistare la vaporiera Snips Bianco per il mio microonde, ero un po' scettico sulle sue capacità. Tuttavia, dopo averla utilizzata, devo dire che sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso. Innanzitutto, devo parlare della sua facilità d'uso. Basta mettere gli ingredienti nei vassoi, inserire la vaporiera nel microonde e impostare il tempo di cottura. È così semplice che anche chi, come me, non è esattamente un cuoco esperto può ottenere risultati fantastici. La vaporiera è abbastanza spaziosa da poter cucinare pasti per tutta la famiglia. I due vassoi offrono abbastanza spazio per cuocere carne, verdure e persino riso contemporaneamente, consentendomi di preparare pasti completi in pochissimo tempo. Inoltre, devo menzionare il suo design elegante. Il colore bianco e le linee pulite si adattano perfettamente alla mia cucina, aggiungendo un tocco di stile alla mia routine culinaria quotidiana. Un'altra cosa che mi piace di questa vaporiera è il fatto che sia BPA free, il che mi dà tranquillità sapendo che i miei pasti sono cotti in modo sicuro e salutare. In conclusione, la vaporiera Snips Bianco è diventata un'aggiunta preziosa alla mia cucina. Con la sua facilità d'uso, la sua capacità spaziosa e il suo design accattivante, è diventata uno strumento essenziale per preparare pasti veloci e salutari.
