Easy installation, look great, very bright!

Pretty much an updated exact replacement for our 2010 F150. The old one was leaking through a very weathern-worn gasket and trying to remove the light to change the gasket resulted in the light simply disintegrating. Ordered this one and it fit perfectly. It does not fit flush with the truck body but it follows the lines just fine - a thick gasket seals between the light and the metal. I had hoped that the white LEDs would add to the backup light strength but no such luck - they're brigh enough to give some light in the bed but even that is just okay - the bottom of the light body blocks the lights from lighting below the wondow, but that's not a big deal in my opinion. Happy with the light, the price is right and it was easy to install. It took a second to realize the wiring was prewired to plug into the light sockets and then another second to figure out what plug went where. There are no instructions but all-in-all, it was pretty easy...

It was very easy to put in. Less lights than the old one. Beautiful when lite up.

Bought this to replace my worn out OEM third brake light. Install was basically straight forward with plug and play. The main issues I had was with the brake light plug used a twisted cable and not a solid cable like they used for the reverse/ courtesy light but even though they are a soft metal and will bend around. The other issue was the light not sitting tight and flush to the cab of the truck. But this is a easy fix, just gotta use the OEM hardware vs the supplied hardware, and once you do that it tightens up and sits flush. I’m over all happy with the this brake light and love how it looks on my truck. If this came with better plugs and the correct mounting hardware this would easily be a 5 stars from me, but with these two issues I feel it’s a solid 4 stars.

I bought this because my factory light had begun to turn brown from water getting past the gasket. I saw this same one on someone else’s f150 and decided to buy it. There’s a difference though. Her truck was black. Mine is white. The issue of fitment is much more pronounced on my truck than on hers. So let’s get this out of the way. It doesn’t fit properly against the roof of the truck. At least the top of it. There’s a gap. The gasket properly fills that gap so there’s no leaks, even through an automatic car wash, but since mine is a single cab 2 wheel drive, it’s noticeable to me. If it were a lifted 4x4 I wouldn’t notice it. The brake light itself, I don’t know how bright it really is during use, I can only see what it looks like on my security cameras as I’m leaving my house, and it looks decent. I will say I was rear ended last week. I can neither confirm nor deny that this was the culprit. The cargo lamp sucks. Its useless. I have an 8’ bed, and it shines only on the last two feet of the bed. If I had a 6’ bed it would miss the bed completely. It plugs into one of the cargo lamp plug sockets so here’s another issue with it, it stays dimly lit for a few minutes after the cargo lamp turns off. I don’t know why. Another issue, the provided bolts. Don’t use them. They won’t work. You’ll have to use your factory bolts. It took me probably half an hour to get one of the bolts out of this light because they were secured in there with nuts for some reason, and it would not thread out for the longest time. After working it over and over eventually it rethreaded itself and was able to come out. Irritating. Long story short, when I get around to it I’ll be buying a replacement, but it won’t be this one.

This is a really nice upgrade from the stock third brake light for my F150. The fact that you are changing the brake light and reverse light display to a long string of white LEDs or a long string of red LEDs is really nice. The screws that this comes with are not great and do not have the option of using a nut driver like the stock ones, While driving in both screws with a screwdriver they both stripped but went all the way in. Also several reviews states that the insulation on this makes the lights stick out about a quarter inch compared to the stock version which is a bit more flush and can eventually leak. Overall anyone that does not own a F1 50 will not notice this. To ensure overtime that the insulation does not break down and cause leaks and rust I added black silicone around the entire seal along with the insulation, cost me $10 and To me it’s worth taking this extra step. I am upgrading my tail lights to the raptor style black housing so this was a great upgrade and the total cost including the extra silicone I bought was $40 for this reason I give this five stars.

Looks nice. 2014 f150 XLT. Gasket is thicker but makes for a nice seal when light is screwed in. I used clear silicone gasket around gasket on light edge and as I tightened the OEM screws the excess silicone seeped out. I know I wont have any issues with leaking. Also i used the same silicone for the screw holes to create a gasket there too. You can kinda tell but u have to b looking for it and right up on it. This is plug and play. All u need to do is take old bulbs out and used the harness provided to insert and your good. Extra spot for the 3rd light to void into empty slot. Cabin light has white light. Brake displays white and red. Haven't used reverse yet but care less for that since I have actual reverse tail lights. Overall happy.

EL producto de buena calidad! Los conectores plug & play hacen todo mas facil. Lo instale en 5 minutos. Queda un poco separado debido al empque, pero no se ve mal. Le doy 4 estrellas y que el angulo de la luz blanca para la caja es muy malo, no alumbra para nada la caja.

Looks awesome, easy install but as others have said sticks out more than factory but I still like the look.
