Even more beautiful in person. Great fit . High quality. Wore to my son’s wedding. 5’6 113lbs this is a small. Had also ordered extra small in green could have worn that too, but shoes matched blue. Green was deep & gorgeous also. Sequins stayed on.

When I ordered this dress, I did so for an upcoming funeral I was going to be attending. I hoped it would be a "nice" dress that would fit the occasion. WOW!!!!!!!!!!! This is the best fitting dress I believe I have ever worn! The length was perfect. It was comfortable and dressy without being "too much." The sleeve length is perfect. I am 5' 2" and to have a dress like this is a dream!!!!!! I am hoping for another occasion, so I can order another with a different colored top!

Love this dress, very flattering

I am 5'6", and 195-209lbs. I got the XL, as Amazon recommended. I have a mum tummy. This is form fitting, so it's one of those dresses that makes me feel sexy coming and going, and self conscious seeing me sideways. Lol. I also have a smaller chest, so it's a little loose in the top, but it's not like falling open. I probably just need a really good bra with this dress, or a perfect excuse for a corset. 😁 It fits really well around my shoulders, and the sleeve length is perfect on me. The hem of the skirt falls right at my knees. The waist line is also actually at my waist, which is what makes this dress so flattering. I overall do love this dress, and will be looking for any excuse to wear it.

I'm admittedly not used to this kind of dress. From the cut, which looked flattering on every single body type in the reviews, to the color (I never wear blue), to the fabric (a synthetic knit) and sequins, it was sort of a new experience. I think it important to mention that I'm AuDHD and clothes are a bit of a sensory thing for me so if you have that kind of neurodivergent trigger maybe this is useful information. I'm a big gal between size 16 and 18 but most of it is in my belly and boobs. Working on that, but I had to wear a blue dress to a work dinner party and that's the body I have at the moment so I had to find something that fits it. In several of the photos I saw ladies about my size and the dress looked pretty good on all of them, so I thought I would give it a try. Crossover styles almost never work for people with big chests. This one though, you can zhush the fabric so it does actually stay closed over the chest area but then, I didn't have to move my arms around or anything crazy. The pieces are attached to the skirt all the way over to the sides which is more than you usually see allowing for better coverage. Thank you, pattern designers, for understanding big boob fashion issues. Then there's the skirt part, which has a lining that is the same fabric as the top. I had to work at it to get the under layer to lie smoothly, and it kept trying to sneak up. I had to be mindful that it didn't creep up my legs to my waist. I don't own any slips anymore since I gained this Covid weight but I am not sure if one would help. I did have a Spank type shapewear thing and the dress looked much better for me having worn that. I'm tall and my monkey arms were just a tad too long for the sleeves, but I think it's supposed to be a little above the wrist. It looked OK. The overlayer of the skirt is sheer with the sequins. I think it is the interaction of the overlay with the underskirt that makes the underskirt creep up. The overlay is a nice heavy weight and the sequins are very well attached. I am not used to a sequined skirt so I was wary of sitting down. The chairs at the party were wooden folding chairs with slats. I didn't realize how much I shift around in my chair but apparently I do because I kept feeling the sequins catch on the slats. It didn't mess the dress up or anything but it was quite noticeable. I didn't think it was hot but I did notice some BO when I took it off. I had showered and groomed and used deodorant before the party but at least on me, synthetics do tend to pick up odors easier. I sprayed it with Febreeze and let it air out for a few days and the odor went away, but I think if I wear it again I'm going to have to take it to the cleaners. So, people said it looked nice. I was okay with the way it looked. I might wear it again. I'm not mad at it. But if I had tried it on in a store especially if I could have sat down in it I probably would have passed on it, because sitting on sequins is weird.

I was at a wedding in June and saw this on one of the family members, so I asked where she got it. She gave me the link to Amazon, and I purchased it for my son's wedding. I loved it. Definitely don't size up because the top was a little loose. It was one of the most comfortable dresses I have ever purchased. It was well made, and I loved the hidden zipper closure because it was easy to put on after we had our hair and makeup done. It was perfect for the September wedding. I loved it so much; I am purchasing another one in a different color for a December wedding. It was such a good purchase.

This dress blew my expectations out of the water once I got it on! I got so many compliments and felt so beautiful while wearing it. It is so comfortable and flattering. I did order the XXL because I am very athletic curvy and I wanted to be sure it would hug me in all of the right places but not hug me too much ;-) My husband referred to it being classy but sexy on me. I love this dress so much that I might order it in another color or two. I wish that I had more places or occasions that I could wear it. This dress was perfect for the Semi Formal work event that I purchased it for. If you are on the fence, pull the trigger and purchase this dress, you will not regret it!

Needed a dress for an evening wedding in early November. I am 5’8” and overweight at 185 lbs. I have lost a lot of weight over the last few months, so I ordered an XL size instead of the recommended XXL. The dress is not lined, but the material is not super thin. Although, see my photo holding the skirt part up to the light. I guess you could probably see through it if it was a really sunny day & the sun hit the skirt just right. I also bought some shape wear in black to go underneath. It’s like a pair of high top spandex shorts. (In my mother’s day it was called a girdle. Lol.) I am wearing it under the dress in my photos. I don’t plan to wear a slip, just the shape wear underneath. The pencil shaped skirt part is tight if you try to put it on over your head. I recommend stepping into it to put it on. Not sure what’s causing the wrinkles on the top in the back. See photo. Maybe because I am still overweight & lumpy? This dress comes in a lot of color combinations. Since it’s a late fall/winter wedding I got the wine red & black.
