The Zecti Carbon Fiber Slider is very well built and makes your shots smooth as silk. In addition to the slider, a nondescript carrying bag and screw hole adapter to fit either 1/4 or 3/8” camera mounts comes included. Other than that, it is pretty simple to use. There are two carbon fiber tracks for the slider to glide on, allowing up to 15.7” of movement, which is long enough for most cases. A red nob adjusts the amount of friction and a bubble level insures the slider is level. It supported my Sony a7r II with a lens just fine (around 3 pounds) and the movement felt very smooth. There are four adjustable rubber legs so the slider can be placed directly on a table or the slider itself can be attached to a tripod, which may be helpful for more front-heavy setups. The only negative is that the screw on the plate for where your camera attaches is not the twisting kind, meaning I have to twist my camera onto the slider. I bought a quick release plate to alleviate this minor annoyance. Overall, this is a very well-built slider and is compact enough to travel with.

Havingt this slider is a great investment for a videographer. It runs quiet, not heavy for transport in the bag that it comes with. It is great to be able to have another camera running effortlessly, which allows you to run another camera without concern. It is a wonderful price compared to the other alternatives. The real selling point is the pivot action that it can do, I would recommend to get this slider to anyone, I haven't found anything else that has a better value.

Nice quality product but too short for my taste. These sliders can go for crazy prices in the hundreds and even thousands of dollars but this product is high enough quality, especially for the excellent price. The goal with a slider is to get clean, jolt-proof shots and this slider rolls along the bars very smoothly and I can get VERY SMOOTH shots by using it. I don’t spend thousands of dollars on my video equipment because I am not a professional and do this as a hobby. But even if I was a professional, I don’t see why I’d buy this product for the ridiculous prices companies like Rhino charge. I’m returning this slider simply because it is too short and I want the longer 47” slider that is only $40 more. I’m fairly certain that Rhino products probably have better quality but this slider is good enough to give smooth camera shots, which is the point. So that’s the only reason I’m giving this slider 4 stars instead of 5 stars...because I’m assuming there are top-quality products out there. But just to give you an idea of what those high-end products cost...I’m getting a 47” slider from Amazon for $90. A 42” slider from Rhino...$600!! I have no idea why. Maybe if it was motorized I’d spend that kind of money but for now, I’ll stick with products like this slider.

I put this slider into use the very next day and I am VERY pleased with its performance. It is incredibly light and has enabled me to grab my shots quickly while providing pleasing visuals. The tracks and wheels are very smooth! Initially I was concerned that 24" would not provide enough range to establish movement in my shots, but not anymore. It does the job beautifully. I often work in environment with tight office spaces and this little gem seems to squeeze in everywhere. I have used it with a Sony HXR-NX70U and a GoPro and the rails handle both without bending. Construction feels sturdy. I have a compact lightweight tripod with a fluid head and that completes the package nicely. We also shoot with Cannon DSLR's and a Canon C300. The C300 is the heaviest camera we use, and I have yet to try it on this slider. I would buy this again.

I know that this was going to be lightweight and portable due to the carbon fiber construction and smaller size, but it is absolutely incredible how lightweight and compact they could make this slider. The case it comes with makes it easy to grab and take with you on the go. One thing I personally added to mine was a tripod head. It makes the slider twice as heavy, but it's a lot easier to take the camera on and off the slider. Again, this will be personal preference because it more than doubles the weight and is harder to put away. The slider had many ways to mount on a tripod, or you could just use the adjustable feet to place it on a table or flat surface. There is a helpful level bubble to make sure the slider is on a flat surface, if not you can use the adjustable feet to level it out. Overall, I'm still amazed at how light they made this thing. It is definitively smaller so it really depends if you need portability or a larger range of motion. I am really happy with my purchase and can't wait to use it more.

The build quality seems good, but the version I got sticks at one end for some reason. The rest of the motion is smooth as long as you don't overload. The 16" travel distance is short and really only good for product, I'd recommend one with a slightly longer travel for other work.

I needed to hang a camera just above the top of a chessboard for a close-up "inspection" of pawns. Was pleased to discover this device flips over and lets you suspend a camera underneath. Even better -- the adjustable feet may be removed and inserted on the other side for full level control and a stable seating. The video shows the result, albeit with my beginner slide technique showing just-out-of-the-box hesitations. It's trickier to slide underneath because there's just a tiny spot to grab on the camera mount that avoids bumping into the center brace/mount. Much easier to slide smoothly in the default position of camera-on-top. The slider is very well constructed, feels and looks solid, and will be a useful piece of kit for these unusual close-up requirements.

It light and compact. I can carry it anywhere now with my tripod without feeling heavy. Great videos have been made using this. Awesome camera slider for the price. It really smooth which will surprise you !
