Update: seller contacted me and replaced the torn bag, great customer service. The canvas seems like it will hold up, but the stitching on the other hand is not very heavy duty, I had one bag blow out while I was filling it up, the 3 other ones seem ok for now but I’ve been super gentle with them, I used them for weight in the back of my truck for winter, I hope the stitching holds up for the winter.

I used these to add some additional weight to some outdoor Christmas decorations I have. Previously I was just using gallon size Ziplock bags and double bagging them. I did use the sewing machine and some thick thread to run another stitch along the edges as other reviewers have said the seams busted open. I probably had about 10-20lbs of sand in them and then rolled down the excess. worked well for my purpose. I just wish other colors were offered.

I bought these to replace old, shredded plastic sand bags. I scooped the sand out of the old bags and used it to fill the new green ones, which are made of a thick material and seem to be well-constructed. The new bags were narrower and longer than the old bags, but they are heavy when filled. They were also a decent price. I will say, I bought one package of 4 and then bought another package and filled them a week later. The first package had faded noticeably in the week it took me to get to the second set. Otherwise, I'm hopeful they'll keep rain water out of my basement this winter.
