Farberware Classic Stainless Series 2-Quart Covered Double Boiler

I've had my Faberware pots for many many years and they are still terrific. I intend to expand my own stock soon, as whilst they are expensive, they last and last and are worth the investment. The quality and durability of this line of cookware is extremely high.

Really good quality pan , heats evenly perfect on my induction cooker.

Nicely made, stainless, clean up is easy and the handle is sturdy and mounted in a good place. I would definitely recommend.

just the double boiler i was looking for making my skin care products & even chocolate ganache.

I inherited this fabulous Farberware Double Boiler years ago. It was old even then so I'm not sure how old it was. I used almost everyday. I loved it. It has a rounded bottom to the upper pot which is perfect for whisking sauces. Whoever designed this pot should get a pat on the head. The old pot's bottom finally wore out - separated and I was hoping to get a replacement. I couldn't find the right size of 2 - 1/2 quarts and I searched everywhere. I found the replacement Farberware Double Boiler pot on amazon. Although the new pot was only a 2 quart pot I bought it. I found the new upper portion of the pot doesn't seat quiet as nicely as my old pot fit on it's bottom pot. Close enough....I'm just so happy to have found a replacement. I'm back to using it almost every day.

Well made double boiler. The handle is a bit on the small side.

It's a beautiful little double boiler. I love it. Nice and heavy. extra clad bottom for great heat distribution. Typical quality for this brand. Love it. This pan will cook one cup dry rice 2 cup water. comes out fluffy and beautiful. No sticking, no tending just fill to bottom of top pan with water so it is almost touching top pan, Let the stove do the rest. Who needs a stupid electric pot. This makes beautiful fluffy rice, any type of cooked cereal, no stirring to watching. Love it. I use it several times a week.
