I was looking for a quality Red Dot without spending a true fortune. And the sightmark element fit the bill perfectly. I have it mounted on a Smith & Wesson M&P 15 sport 2. Which has a front A2 iron sight that the gas block is connected to. So it's not just removable without Proper know how of what you're doing. I needed a red dot sight that could either clear the front sights or could be used to co-witness with the front iron. And it's an absolute true co-witness. It worked perfect. The Caps come off and flip around to adjust wind and help zero in the Red Dot. Also there are no tools needed to install other than a pair of pliers if you want to snuggle it down a bit tighter. Overall I recommend this red dot and would definitely purchase it again

Easy set-up, great value
This is my first experience with a red-dot on my AR, and this sight was recommended by both a colleague, and an online review. Mounting and zero-ing couldn't have been much easier. As expected, going from 25 yds to 100 yds required quite a bit of adjustment. My aging eyes needed some help at 100 yds so I added a magnifier. So now, even with my "value priced" AR and cheap range ammo, I can shoot nice tight groups at 100 yds.

Very nicely built, but the dot could be brighter
I really liked the look of this thing on my AR. I never got to use it much because I was at the range and someone offered me more money for my gun than I could pass up. So I literally used it once to shoot. I won’t comment on accuracy. But it definitely could use work on the brightness. Unless I had it on full power, I couldn’t see the dot. It has 11 notches if I remember correctly. Only the last notch/power setting was bright enough to see. It was made of very nice material and the pop up cover on each end are a great feature.

Never worked since day one
I cant tell you if it is good or bad because it never worked since the first day I got it tried 3 different New batteries hoping that was the problem but still didn't work the worst part is you send it back and have to wait 30 days after they receive it to get you money back on your card so you can move forward and purchase something else so im Still waiting on my refund and probably buy a Sig IV had good luck with them

Sight to dim , but works
Got this as a cowitness for a shotgun , its very dim and since i got it from Amazon on used i will keep it but wouldn't be my primary optic !
