Nitze Camera Clip, Shoulder Strap Mount, Capture Clip with 4-side Mountable Arca Quick Release Plate for DSLR/Mirrorless, Action Camera - N58A

I love this little device, much cheaper than the Peak Design version but it works great. The only slight issue I had is the Arca Swiss plate doesn't fit my Manfrotto tripod that's meant to be Arca Swiss compatible, so I bought a Nitze tripod mount adaptor. I've used this with an A7IV with a 24-105 and a 70-200 and it holds the camera and lenses really well. Solid build quality and smooth lock button operation make it a joy to use.

Edit after 6 months of use: I have discovered why it catches, if you press the release button fully, it will catch all the time (it snags on the inside of the release plate) - The trick to stop it catching is to half-press the button, it releases all the time without issue! - This may be intentional perhaps so that it isn't accidentally pressed if it gets swashed or something. It does its job well, after using it for a long while now, I however there are 3 main issues with it Cons: 1) Need to half press the release button instead of fully pressed (or it snags and won't release, may be by design?) 2) The quick release plate is not standard size so will not fit on universal tripods 3) This might be my own problem but because my bag strap is diagonal I have to keep retightening the screw thread as when the camera moves but the plate (when mounted) does not, it slowly unscrews the base 4) It is quite heavy for a small thing, but I assume this is because it is a durable metal product for holding heavy cameras. Pros: 1) Sturdy design, lives up to the product advertisement 2) Easy to use, lock and unlock (when not snagging) works very well 3) The provided screwdriver (while not perfect fit) is very handy

My LUMIX S5 setup with Sigma f1.2 weights with gear and cage about 2,5kg and this clamps hoooooooollllldddd like craaazy, I record videos for Mondello Park in Ireland and many times I have to run trough the track and with this Clamp I am 1000% sure that my camera is safe and sound. It balances my weight distribution from back to front making my 7/8 hour recording session much easier. Personally amazing add on for a price.

Feels like a quality item, took some squeezing onto my backpack but once there it's perfect.

Extremely good and way cheaper than a Peak Design one. I'm sure the more expensive one would last decades but this one seems solid enough and is a good buy at the price.

The clip is great by its own. Build quality is good and operation is smooth. Two very important points are worth noticing, though. (1) The plate does not attach firmly enough to the camera, no matter how much you crank up the bolt. I had to tighten it repeatedly during a quite short time of use. (2) The way the clip is built is such that it only worked with the plate it came with, although it is said to be an Arca Swiss compatible mount. The reason is that the slit is not high enough to accomodate plates such as the Peak Design or Falcam models. Thus, compatibility with other Arca Swiss systems will not be great. This is very unfortunate. I'll have to ditch this clip and get a better one.

This is a great product due to its price and build quality. It has 2 steps security lock which I love so much. However, the rubber on the pad inside is not thick, it can slip a little bit if you use this with your backpack strap.

Der Clip ist exakt und passgenau aus Metall gefertigt und trägt eine Sony A7III mit angesetztem Zoom sicher und komfortabel. Ein- und Ausclipsen der hochwertigen Arcaplatte klappt problemlos. Schön ist der magnetische zu fixierende Minischrauber für die Arcaplatte, der so sicher im Clip immer dabei ist. Mein Rucksackträger ist dicker als die maximal angegebenen 8mm - trotzdem lässt sich der Clip befestigen und hält gut. Allerdings sollte man die Befestigungsschrauben ab und an nachziehen weil diese sich etwas lockern. Mir fällt kein Grund ein, das doppelte für einen PD auszugeben - bei Funktion und Materialqualität hält Nitze problemlos mit. Einzig der Clip von Pygtech wäre noch interessant, er wird mit zwei Klammern befestigt - da entfällt das Nachziehen von Befestigungsschrauben. Allerdings ist der nicht komplett aus Metall…irgendwas ist immer. Der Nitze ist jedenfalls eine glatte Empfehlung. Nachtrag Januar 2024: leider habe ich die Arcaplatte verloren und beim Nitzeservice nach Ersatz gefragt. Antwort und perfekte Lösung innerhalb von wenigen Stunden. Kundenservice ist herausragend. Great ajustement for the depth as the screws are long enough, clip is solid and works well. Had it for over a year and it's perfect.
