OEM crank position sensor
I ordered this sensor due to a failed crank position sensor code on our 06 Xterra. This is the OEM replacement sensor with a new O-ring (seal). To access it, you have to remove the passenger side wheel and inner fender well (plastic) it is not difficult. The sensor is then accessible. Video's are on youtube to help. Disconnect and remove the single bolt, remove the defective sensor and replace and then put the fender well back in and wheel back on. Took me about an hour. Not programming but you'll need an OBD 2 code reader to verify the code and clear it. There are cheaper sensors but I feel the Hitachi is the best.

Great product and worked well
This product was exact fit for 2005 Nissan Frontier V6 4.0 engine. No issues at all and it has been working for about a week. Cranked the first time after I installed it and every time since. I was worried about the price/product but now I am glad I ignored some of the comments and purchased anyway. Sensor does not appear to be cheap and was a good quality. Well worth the price so far. Would buy again.

Installed and works perfectly. Fixed the P0335 error code on my 2005 Nissan Xterra and all of the issues associated with it like hard start, stalling, and bad acceleration. Runs like a champagain. And you can’t beat the price for this part. Arrived quickly and comes with a new rubber gasket, which some other choices do not. A great purchase.

Better quality sensor
Used this sensor to replace the inferior cheap silver metal can type that was so bad ever from new.With this new (all black plastic) like the OEM ones,My car startsNow with one crank and runs smoothly.Time will tell for longevity of the sensor, but I would recommend this over the the other crappy metal revised units.
