This bench is easy to put together, took about 15 minutes. When putting it together, holes are predrilled and line up perfectly. All you need is the allen wrench and screws, which come in the box. Directions are self explanatory. I took pictures of holes lining up and of me using the allen wrench. This bench is very sturdy and comfortable. the bars are made of a black metal that will not chip. There are firm pads on the bottom of the bench legs so my wooden floor will not get damaged. The bench holds 8 pairs of adult shoes. The seat is at a comfortable height, making it easy for anyone using it to sit down and stand up. I really like the bars that the shoes sit on, as they do not block the airflow, even with the shoes on the shelves. There are many benches out there, but the shelves are solid or the bench is fully enclosed, which would block the floor register, meaning, limited heat in the winter and limited air conditioning in the summer. I am so glad I waited for this bench. It's idea! for my purposes, and it looks more expensive than it is! I would recommend it!

Fantastic Purchase! Great price! I purchased the olive colored seat. Arrived a day early. Packed well. Everything clearly marked on enclosed brochure. I attached one side and tightened. Next I attached other side. Lastly I attached 4 screws to bottom of seat. Everything fit together well. Less than 30 minutes to assemble. Feels sturdy! Very pleased with this purchase!!

I mean, you get what you pay for. I wouldn't expect this to be a really nice piece of furniture. It sucks that the height is so low because the distance between the shoe holders is not high enough for anything but flat sandals and kids shoes. I'll likely take the middle piece out and hope it still holds up idk.
