​If you are running Home Assistant (HA), you’ve likely realised that while phone apps and voice commands are useful, sometimes you just want a physical button to turn off the lights. These are currently the gold standard for budget-friendly, reliable Zigbee buttons. Battery included and Sonoff claims a 5-year battery life. ​Mounting Magic: Each button comes with a magnetic metal plate and 3M adhesive pad. You can stick or screw the plate to a wall and the button just snaps onto it magnetically—making it easy to grab and use as a remote or pop off to change the battery. This has worked well for me, I am using these as bedside light switches. ​The button is tactile, and has a satisfying "click" with a quality feel. ​Home Assistant Performance ​This is where the SNZB-01P shines, provided you have a Zigbee coordinator - I use the Sonoff ZigBee Dongle plugged into a PC running HA on proxmox, pairing was easy and response is near instant. Each button gives you three distinct triggers (press, double press, long press), meaning this 2-pack a number of possible automations, there are blueprints available but it's simple enough to write basic functions to toggle the lights, adjust and reset brightness however you need to run them.

These were easy to set up and worked first time with Home Assistant. I have the HA "Yellow" with built-in Zigbee, so I did not need to purchase a separate hub (sadly the HA Yellow has now been discontinued, but other third-party adapters are still available and should work just fine). Zigbee devices (or the newer Thread / Matter ones) are often a bit more expensive than the more common cloud-based Wifi devices, but the reassurance of not being dependent on the Internet or any third party is well worth it. The switches have been in constant use now for 9 months, and are showing no sign of the batteries wearing out (which is as expected with the advertised 5-year life of course!).

In stark contrast to Sonoff's temperature sensors, these just work. Sends events using Zigbee to Home Assistant and use them to trigger actions. Connects quickly on scans, nice positive button feel. Opening the cases take slightly more force than I'd like the first couple of times, but they haven't broken yet. The wall mount is OK - magnets in the case hold it on (or stick it to the fridge, etc.).

Compatibility: Works great with zigbee2mqtt. Functionality: single, double and long press. Size: it’s decent sized, not to small or to big. Has a build in magnetic base, which allows positioning on metal surfaces.

Work great when eventually connected. What the micro instructions don't tell (even if you can read them) is that the QR code on the device won't directly work AND it can't be directly added manually with the Ewelink app (unlike both intuition and every other Sonoff product). Rather, this device needs added manually VIA THE SONOFF BRIDGE device within the Ewelink app. Once this is done it works fine. I can imagine this one undocumented feature is keeping the Sonoff help desk busy!

Works great. I use it with home assistant

I had high hopes for these. I bought 2 in a pack to be used with Home Assistant (HA). I also bought a Sonoff Zigbee USB dongle which worked straight away with HA. However, one of the buttons kept on loosing pairing with the HA. The other one works fine. I used a bench power supply on the one that kept on loosing connection, and it worked perfectly. I had checked the battery and replaced it with a new one. On battery it kept on loosing pairing. I suspect their must be a charging cap inside to provide power boost when the button is activated and that is the problem. I have sent them back, so now Sonoff's problem. I wished I had looked at the reviews, it seems a lot of people have the same problem.

These buttons have a lovely quality feel, almost like they're an Apple product!! I'm using them with Home Assistant and the SLZB-MR5U Zigbee / Matter gateway - I just pressed their pairing button & they appeared in HA automatically. Could not be easier. I didn't have to download any app or add any special integrations. For £25 they do seem a little expensive - but I have bought a second pair cos they feel a really quality product. So far I've only used them round the house, but had no problems with range or connectivity.

Très bon petit gadget domotique. Nécessite une passerelle ZigBee. De préférence choisir la passerelle de la même marque sonoff. J'ai essayé avec une autre passerelle même ZigBee 3.0 ça n'a pas marché. Une fois la passerelle installée les boutons sont facilement configurables. Personnellement je n'avais pas Smart homme j'ai donc juste installer les boutons dans l'appli ewelink. Et pour les scénarios vous avez la possibilité si vous avez Alexa de les créer dans Alexa. Il vous suffit pour cela de rajouter la sKILe ewelink et tout se fait automatiquement il vous propose directement la configuration des boutons. Par exemple pour l'un d'entre eux je les ai associés au scénario de distribution de croquettes une deux et trois doses qui était dans Smartlife relié aussi à Alexa et quand je fais un clic il donne une dose de croquettes double clic 2 doses et appui long 3 doses. C'est très pratique car avant c'était à la commande vocale avec Alexa mais il ne comprenait quasiment jamais rien 4 fois sur 5. J'ai associé l'autre bouton à des commandes de lumières interrupteurs Meross et autre marque dans SmartLife et ça marche nickel.

After turning off the power the button becomes unavailable every time and the only way to make it work again is to remove the device from home assistant and add it back. This is crazy. Other sonoff devices work well though

Interruttore perfetto e molto funzionale. Lo ho applicato vicino ad una porta dove non arrivava l'interruttore e d è di una grande comodità. Lo ho collegato con il SONOFF ZBMINIL2 ZigBee senza neutro ed è stato facilissimo configurarlo. Una grande comodità senza rompere muri. Cinque stelle meritatissime.
