My cat loves this scratching post and I can easily move it wherever it is needed based on his routine. I have a small apartment and multiple scratching posts aren’t ideal, but if he’s enjoying a nap with me I know I can bring it into the bedroom and he’ll stay close by if he gets up before me. Training him to use the right scratching tools is easier if they are accessible when/where he needs them. The wall mounted ones save space, but they are fixed and his tower is too bulky to travel. This keeps up with him and is easy to plop in front of him if he starts in on something I’d rather him not scratch in. The little balls stay put, unlike some of his other toys where I’m pulling couches and appliances out to recapture escaped victims. It’s inexpensive enough that if I ever have to replace it, I won’t mind. But it’s durable enough that I’m not inclined to have to replace it anytime soon. It’s a simple and unobtrusive look that easily abuts a wall or counter so doesn’t interfere with the flow of the space, the color is neutral enough that it won’t conflict with a design scheme, and it is thin enough that it can likely find space in varied positions alongside, behind, or between furniture. It performs its duties perfectly, without complaint, and seems to enjoy the cat’s affections. So we’re going to keep this one and may find it a partner one day.

Goes together easily !! Ok My cats absolutely love this !! The catnip was a good treat for them too! Very sturdy and still holding up well .

My cat uses this every single day and loves it! It doesn't look too bad and is tall enough for a large adult cat. The only reason that I gave this 4 stars is because it is a little wobbly and the cardboard shavings get everywhere and have to be vacuumed every so often. I always find little cardboard shavings in blankets and stuff. Overall good product and would recommend.

Kitties approved! We bought this over a year ago and it’s still in good shape. The best part is that you can reverse the cardboard from the unscratched part to get longer use. Very easy to assemble. You can also buy a replacement main board which are cheaper if you can’t spend the extra money to buy a brand new set. I haven’t been able to find the smaller boards but that’s ok. This was just our preference when money is tight. The design holds up wicked good! Cats love it so much compared to a regular flat scratcher. The L shape allows them to stretch and scratch upward if they choose. We have 3 other types of scratches around the house and they use this one the most. Technically you should have more then one scratcher ( and litter box) if you have more then one cat and have them in different rooms especially if you have more then one floor in your home. I add cat nip every 2-3 days. Even without fresh catnip they’ll still scratch it. Our two cats also like to sleep and lounge on it when they’re not scratching it. They don’t scratch our furniture either, especially our youngest kitty. She always had scratchers to use so I think because we had these available to her as a kitten, it helped a lot so she wasn’t scratching our carpets and furniture. The other cat is a rescue who was around 5 years old when we got her. She used to scratch the carpets and furniture at her previous home because she’s never had a scratcher before but once we introduced this to her, She’ll only scratch this. I will definitely purchase this again because the quality is so great!

My daughter's cat likes it a lot. He's a big boy at about 15 1/2 lbs. He scratches it and sits and lays on it. He plays with the ball sometimes. We put treats in the slot where a ball goes and he works hard to get them out to the point he ends up moving the entire scratcher. Smart boy! It's been a good purchase.
