Enhance Capture Cream

This Labope Penellagen Enhance Capture Cream is a wonderful cream to use at night or in the morning, especially if you have dehydrated or dry skin. The packaging is simply high end, as is something you would expect to see from that French luxury skincare brand that sells its creams in blue jars. The jar is seriously high end- nice, thick frosted glass, with metal accents. It looks and feels luxe! As for the cream, a little goes a long way. You really don't need much to properly moisturize your neck and face. I found the cream to absorb immediately, while leaving behind a slightly tacky finish (though not at all shiny or oily). This is fine by me, as I don't often wear makeup. The only thing I'm not in love with is the scent- to me it is very "1980's Old Lady" smelling. I find it strong in scent, but it does go away quickly after it is applied. After only having used this cream for a few days, my skin feels and looks more moisturized, and possibly a bit firmer as well.

I love the feeling of this moisturizer on my skin! It's so smooth and light to the touch, but also absorbs quick enough for my liking. I dislike putting on something my face after an evening shower and then having to wait around while it absorbs or risk getting it on my pillowcases. This isn't that!! I put it immediately on after towel drying, and within 5 minutes or less, there's no longer a feeling of it on my skin. No English explanation whatsoever on the box or the jar, I had to use a translation tool to translate the ingredients to English which I'm showing you here.The scent is overpowering. I did apply it on my skin to try, it was just too overpowering for me. And it left a sticky feeling as well on my skin, not very pleasant, I don't like it.Edited to add 4/19/2024: Seller reached out with a personal message, not a form letter. They're very nice and do read the comments and do care about their products and customers. Customer service is 5 stars!

I usually like Korean moisturizers, however, I don't care for this one too much. It has a strange odor that I recognize from another cream that I didn't like. I don't know what it is, but it is very off-putting to me. The ingredients on this jar are not in English, so I don't know what is in it.It is a good size jar, so you get a lot of cream.The cream does an adequate job of moisturizing and softening. It is not a heavy cream and spreads and absorbs well. It does not seem like it is long-lasting and maybe not the best for dryer skin.This is not my preference for a face cream and it seems the price is high for its effectiveness for me.

"High quality" and "Korean skincare" go together - this unique moisturizing cream is no exception. I avoid cheap moisturizers and this one does not contain any form of mineral oil, which is great. This product is in a very attractive, frosted glass jar. According to the product page, the collagen contained in this formula is apparently sourced from starfish (as "10% penellagen") - that's quite unusual, but my skin likes it - that's one unique ingredient I doubt you'll find in any domestically produced moisturizers. The cream itself is mildly scented; certainly pleasant. It's creamy, smooth and applies with ease, absorbing quickly into the skin. A pleasant nightly drink for your skin. The quality is evident here. Enthusiastically recommended!
