Peugeot 23393 Paris U'Select 7 Inch Salt Mill, Natural

Can believe some people don’t grind salt?!?! Just wrong. So much better to grind it. Jeezus- I’ve even got family who still use shakers. Just ridiculous. You'll taste the difference! Oh- as far as this specific product- luv it! No one grinds like the French. You'll feel the quality as you twist the top. The grind range is pretty good too, and not one of those where you just loosen the top-fastening knob like some barbarian. Happy grinding! 😀

I love this new (well, new to me anyway) u-select technology they have in the most recent Peugeot mills. I would highly recommend getting the newer ones because they give you five course/fine choices and they work very well. You just twist the bottom section of the mill choosing one of the five levels. Try it out first on all five so that you will know what you like. Peugeot mills are sturdy, durable, made very well, and beautiful. I love the natural color for salt, and I have the chocolate one for my pepper. The 7" mills are the perfect size for me in that they fit in my hands nicely and they fit in my cabinet perfectly. In the past I had one of the lacquered ones and, while they are quite lovely, the lacquer chips fairly easily. I was not pleased with that so it is nice to have the choice of the wood without lacquer. Incidentally, as of this date, amazon has the wrong picture up for this item. I believe it is the five inch mill they are showing. See pics that I have loaded that show the one I received, which is the correct item for this model. As a side note, mine has a cute smiley face in the wood which I just love.

Had my eye on this pepper and salt grinder for a few months. A bit of an investment for my budget but well worth it. Sale price helped tip me toward this purchase. Beautifully made, functional and comfortable to turn with my slightly stiff hands due to arthritis.

Perfect size for me, wanted something bigger than 4" and less than 8" and this is about 6" - the best part is, I couldn't decide on colors, so I got the natural beechwood for salt and the dark walnut for pepper and makes a great set! I bought months ago and been actively using and love them.

Been using this salt mill for a year. I am using it on natural coarse pink Himalayan salt. Unfortunately, there is minimal salt coming out. I have tried different course setting and it won’t work whatsoever. I am not sure why I bother to buy a salt mill that does not even work. Any ideas what to do with it?

Dec 2023: I've the Peugeot Paris pepper grinder for years now. Has worked really well. Ordered the light one for salt. I expect the same type of qualify grinder for the coarse salt that I use for this grinder. I do recommend the product. Nice wood. Easy to use and refill with salt. Has ability to adjust the size of the salt when you grind.

I saw this recommended in Wirecutter reviews, and the mill itself does not disappoint. Elegant, with a superior stainless steel grinding mechanism. The "U’SELECT" grind adjustment on the bottom of the mill is a HUGE improvement over mills that adjust via the top screw; much easier to get the grind you want, and much better about staying where it is set. I would have loved to give this excellent mill a 5-star rating. But according to the Amazon product listing, it was supposed to come "READY TO SEASON — Our mills come partially filled for immediate enjoyment. The Cristaux de sel blanc d'Allemagne is a dry white salt that comes from Germany, and is perfect for everyday cooking." That sounds great! But, sadly, my salt mill arrived empty. I paid for a premium, ready-to-use product loaded with a specialty salt. That is not what I received.

Très satisfait , mais il manque une coupelle pour récupérer le sel moulu quand on le pose sur une table, qui s'étale partout quand on le pose sur une table : ça oblige de prévoir avant un "accessoire de propreté" , idem pour son rangement. J'ai été surpris agréablement qu'il y a un réglage très performant à la base du moulin pour choisir l'épaisseur du sel moulu : super idée !

Recibí un molino de sal esperando recibir uno de pimienta, como en la foto. Compré este artículo hace 3 años, molino de pimienta Peugeot y funciona excelente. Cuando volví a comprar el producto noté que el mecanismo es diferente. Resulta que existe una versión del molino para pimienta y otro para sal, incluso existe para sal con y sin humedad. No existe una opción específica en Amazon para comprar uno u otro, si que te puede llegar cualquiera.

sehr edles Design mit Top Mahlwerk. sieht gut in der Küche und auf dem Esstisch aus. Mahlwerk mahlt sehr fein.

Non funziona con pepenero Ho tentato alcuni volte ma non c'è condizione di lavorale con pepenero soltanto sale. Quando ho comprato parlano di due funzione.
