The hooks are so much better than the one's that come with the loom! The end is a different angle that makes it easier to hook on to yarn and the general hook itself is much, much stronger and does not bend at all. Trust me, I once used extremely thick yarn on a loom making it all tight and that for sure would have destroyed the hook that came with the loom but it didn't do a thing to one of the hooks from this pack.The needles are good as well; the purple ones are bigger and easier to use and I like to use the orange ones for any thin yarn.All together, I think this is definitely worth the money. I was actually surprised by how cheap it was for such a big pack.

This set seems durable. I've only had to use one of the hooks and darning needles so far. Great price.

The handles on the hooks are rather stiff and hard. Also, the angle of the hook is a little awkward needing an adjustment to the hand holding it so as to not scrape the fingers holding the hoop. The needles seem to be sturdy for the finish work.
