My application is for my RC hobby, both builds and maintenance. I’ve only used it on a few parts so far, but so far it is working exactly as I hoped, a quick and secure connection that can also be reworked without stripping anything out. There’s plenty in the bottle, half is air which keeps it liquid. Once you get it into a threaded connection is begins to harden. Tip is a bit large for hitting tight spots but I use a sharp thin metal tip to guide small drops into tight locations. If you leave some on a surface it’s easy to wipe off.

Bought the 222 purple for use on a knife I use frequently with a screw that kept backing itself out. So far it's worked perfectly. The thread locker is pretty thick so it's easy to apply even to tiny screws like in a knife. Zero complaints, great value compared to the other name brand.

The first thing to understand is that this is non-permanent and designed to prevent breaking smaller threaded parts when removing without heat or impact. It can be messy if you use too much, but that’s on you! The bottle is a good design. Store it upright to prevent leaks. Shake well!

This product is engineered to be used on very small threaded fasteners where removeable thread locker would still be too strong. The Amazon seller is great. This is a cyano-acrylate glue (super glue) that is a medium hold. It is made for things that you want to stay in place, but that you might want to remove at some later time. People who mount gun sights use this type glue all the time. Permanent, until you don’t want it to be. There are two other formulations, which you can guess: light, for things that need a light hold, and strong, for things that you had better want stuck together. This brand seems to work as expected.

Just what I expected for quality and ease of use.

I did a comparison and this purple threadlocker is by far much stronger that the Loctite 242. Took far too much force to remove the bond, thus ruining the mating parts.
