Good little knife
This is a little tricky. I like the knife. It is small and has a sheepfoot blade. I find that design to be my favorite for opening packages and breaking down boxes. The sheath was frustrating and was initially too tight. I was able to warm the kydex with a heat gun and loosen it a little bit. I didn’t ding the knife because of the sheath. I like this knife for its specific purposes. Do not confuse the name for thinking this knife is stainless steel. As it is D2 tool steel it will probably rust especially if using it in maritime applications. I happen to like D2 as it does not take a year and a half to sharpen as some of the super steels do.

Nice little knife for lightweight camping
The build quality and design is really working for me. I think this blade is perfect for food prep in the back country camping out of a backpack. It doesn't have a sharp point necessarily but does have a good straight cutting edge, that makes it a good knife for slicing food. It's small bladed with enough handle, I've had good control experiences using this knife. Good well made sheath with a spring clip, grippy micarta scales and D2 steel.

Perfect EDC knife
This is the perfect size for a pocket fixed blade EDC knife. I carry it in my back left pocket and can't even tell it's there. The taco style sheath means it has a small footprint. The knife fits well in my large sized hands especially after I added a lanyard. Would definitely recommend to any collector or someone wanting to try a fixed blade EDC.

Beautiful in form, sharp in function
I've been wanting a smallish fixed blade for every day carry. The deckhand fits the bill. It was quite sharp right out of the package. It's substantial enough to lend itself to control. The micarta handle is big enough for a four-finger grip in my hands. The sheath is snug on the knife with no wiggle. There's a useful amount of tension when pulling out the knife, but not too much. The sheath is sturdy and the clip is of good simple quality. I'll keep this knife primarily in my EDC bag, so I'm not terribly concerned with the clip and may just remove it all together.

Solid
I’d rate the knife a 10/10 on feel and quality especially for this price. I have a lot different knives and wanted something priced right for an edc tool. I have knives ranging from over $200 down to $15 and this fits the EDC role perfect as a fixed blade. The size is perfect for working the blade in many different holds and just feels really good. I haven’t done anything that would really put it to the durability test yet but for just normal use it’s done great. BUT I will say this sheaths clip is absolutely garbage for the way I intended to use it which is on waistband with belt. I wear a leather hanks belt and this thing just flaps all around loose and can’t even pull knife out of it with the sloppy clip. But a very simple fix on my end by ordering a tek lok belt clip and now it’s awesome. The sheath itself is just kydex and there’s zero rattling of knife in it but as stated the clip is an absolute bust. For the price and then add $12 for a tek lok your doing pretty well with choosing this knife. Sharpness from factory on mine wasn’t the best but easy to fix. I will be open to buying more Kizer blades as of right now. Happy purchase and not regrets!

Great edc fixed blade
I am in love with this fixed blade. Clip is ok for belt carry but this knife is Great for pocket carry if you add a ulticlip. Fit and finish a excellent! Thickness of the blade is nice and chunky but overly. Great for utility cuts. Stability of the kydex sheath is great! Nice positive snap putting it in and zero rattle. Highly recommend.
