Very accurate and well built

If you have a lot of measuring to do this is a great little tool. You have to practice the various functions and how to use them properly but even without a manual you get the hang of it soon thanks to an easy to use touch screen and menu. The only downside to a measuring tape is that you need a surface at the other end to have the laser bounce off, like a wall. A bush or similar would not suffice usually (specifically not over long distances, but a compromise if precision is secondary is to hit the ground from an angle). The mobile phone connection is a treat and I have measured objects like furniture and added the dimensions to a picture I took them all through the app. Also very helpful is the function to name distances or area measurements and give them a name on your phone. Small so it fits easily into your backpocket.

Does not support USB-C PD charging

This is more targeted at the DIYer that wants a fancy toy or people like surveyors than trades folk as its not ruggedised in any way and has a few issues in the design and software. The unit itself has a bright easy to read screen and many MANY functions including liking to your phone using the Tuya app which is nice if you want to put measurements straight into a spreadsheet or onto a diagram within the app. The screen itself is touch screen, while this is nice, the responsiveness of the screen and inputs is sluggish which makes it feel a lot more budget than the premium market that its targeting. The Manual is chunky but only 23 pages of which are in English and the instructions for some of the modes are pretty unclear. Again some of the functions require swiping on the screen which is no good with dirty hands or similar while working on a job as a trades person. There is also a tripod screw on the base for taking flat, accurate measurements. The digital level function, unfortunately is hard to use due to the display updates being so very sluggish and feels more like a gimmick than it should do. The supplied hard case is nice, and the charging cable is braided but excessively short to the point that it might as well not have been included. Unless you charge it from a socket or power back only around 3 inches away, then you will need your own cable. There is a wrist strap supplied, but the loop entry is so deep and narrow with steep angles that its impossible to actually thread it through even with a lot of patience. Needed to use a needle to pull at the end of the loop to get it installed in the end.

Was it only me going around the house and measuring every wall, ceiling, floor etc? Anyway, this is packaged beautifully and thoughtfully. The case that you will store this laser meter is tough and secure however, the meter itself can move inside a little bit which could end up in damaging the meter if you throw it around like a garbage bag. It comes with a nice looking wrist lanyard and also very nice charging cable. The meter itself look fantastic and it is very easy to use at least when doing some basic measurements. There is a fairly strong light just in case you need to take measurements in the dark with two brightness levels. I really like the design as it is very basic rectangular shape with four buttons on the side and one on the front. The whole device is quite small which was a little surprise but it is fantastic looking laser meter. To be honest I didn't expect that this little device will have so many options for measurements. It can measure not only distances up to 100m but also it gives you an immediate and constant angle. It has an option to measure the corner angles and works as spirit level too. It can cleverly calculate volumes and areas as well as indirectly measure the height or length. The possibilities are very broad with this and many professionals will find the use for them. For a simple DIYer like myself it might be a little bit too much as I won't use the full potential of this little device. However, it is great to know that I can do so much with it. Overall, very pleased not only with the looks of this little meter but also with the accuracy and functionality. It will be well worth it forany professional and some advanced DIYers.

The MiLESEEY D9 pro laser distance meter with visual aligning indicator is excellent quality and packed full of functions and tech, included with it you get a nice carry case, lanyard, charging cable and detailed instructions. My first impressions of the device was of the quality, it is well built and the additional components supplied compliment it nicely, there are lots of settings and functions built in, some of which I never knew existed on such a device, if you are familiar with laser measuring devices then some of the functions and settings I would imagine are familiar here, if you are new then I think there will be a bit of a learning curve required depending on how advanced your measurements have to be. I use this device for simple jobs around the home, I have a landscaping project I want to do this year and this has made my challenge so much easier to manage, it is capable of measuring distances and angles with ease, it has a built in level that displays live feedback on the clear display. I like that there are 3 lasers that can be used to measure, the side beams can be used for alignment when hanging shelves and pictures around the home, I connected the device to the smartlife app and I was able to take measurements and apply them to a shape that I plotted, this info can be further exported if you require, it can also be mounted onto a tripod using the thread on the underside. Overall, this device has transformed my measurement skills around the home, I was able to quickly measure the surface area of a wall to work out how much wallpaper I needed, and my garden area to order timber for a project, in the future I will be keeping this close by on all my projects around the home, be aware of the beam when using if there are people around, top quality device with functions I never knew possible from such a device, thank you.

This is a lovely bit of kit, and a real step up from the numerous 'DIY' meters I've seen so far. The way it's presented in the first place gives some idea of the instrument you're unpacking. When you finally get to the meter (through several layers of packaging) you can see it's something a bit special. I've had a quick play with it, and can see straight away that this D9Pro will take measurements very easily, and actually give you access to measurements you didn't even know you could get. Now, there IS a learning curve with this, starting with the basic job of seeing how to access the various settings/functions. There's an instruction manual in the box, but for easier reading I downloaded the PDF instructions directly from the Mileseey website. Far easier to go through, reading it on a tablet. The meter communicates through bluetooth using the popular SmartLife app. This gives loads more options and opportunities to keep your measurements safe, and actually make sense of them by using the draw tool. Again, there's some learning to do here, but even at this early stage I can see it's going to be well worth it, and will also be fun doing it. I would class this as a 'white collar' instrument, if there is such a thing. It's not the sort of device you'd want to carry around on a building site for instance, as it would be far to easy to damage IMO. Mileseey do a much more rugged version for that sort of environment (and more expensive, as would be expected). With a clear display, touch-screen for most of the settings and feature-rich options, this really is the sort of instrument you'll enjoy using. I'm already loving it, and I haven't even scratched the surface yet regarding its' capabilities. On a quality/value-for-money basis... 5-Stars.

First of all, this is a premium product and the price reflects that, even with the £40 discount at the time of ordering. The first thing you notice is the packaging, it's like a top end phone and it exudes quality. The device itself is very weighty and everything is tightly screwed together as you'd expect, it really is a next level levelling device. In all honesty, I'm a DIYer at best, so on reflection this is a little overkill for me (but I still love it!!). There are so many functions and ways to use this that I've barely scratched the surface of its capabilities, luckily it comes with an operating manual!! So far its done everything I expected and more, even the included torch is great. The only negative thing I can see so far is that its sleek construction will expose it to damage, those bevelled corners will not like being dropped, luckily it comes with a sturdy travel case that still remains pocket sized, but if you drop it when it's being used, I think it won't hold up well. Overall this is a beautiful product with a quality that warrants the price, but alas, for most of us, it will simply not be used to its fullest.

Si tratta di un misuratore di alto profilo, studiato per personale che si occupa soprattutto di rilievi su costruzioni edili, per le quali questo tipo di strumento risulta pressoché indispensabile. Le misurazioni sono abbastanza precise, tranne forse quelle calcolate utilizzando l'ampiezza dell'angolo e per le quali è comunque indispensabile l'utilizzo di un cavalletto. Non è molto adatto per lavori "sul campo" tipici di operatori diretti in cantiere, anche se è provvisto di una leggera custodia in gomma. Del resto è uno strumento completo, forse un pochino costoso, ma scontato è un buon acquisto.

This product is very accurate, handy and awesome. Only downside is the pure heaviness because of its metallic body, beware of its shock absorption capability vs any other plastic model. Thankfully It has a silicon cover but if it falls the wrong way I guess thats it. 200 euros down the gutter 🤕. Very good piece of equipment tho, just very unsettling to use psicologically incase it drops which is my only downside

I've had a chance to try this out briefly, and so far, it's doing everything it promises. It feels lightweight and sits comfortably in my hand, making it easy to use. The app setup is also straightforward, allowing me to access all the information I need quickly.

J’utilise ce mètre laser depuis plusieurs semaines et il a déjà gagné sa place dans ma caisse à outils. La mesure est instantanée, l’affichage est clair même en pleine luminosité, et la précision est remarquable. Plus besoin de se contorsionner pour mesurer des hauteurs ou des espaces difficiles d’accès : on pointe, on appuie, et le résultat tombe immédiatement. La batterie tient très bien, le boîtier inspire confiance, et les fonctions supplémentaires (calcul de surfaces, mémorisation des mesures) rendent le travail nettement plus fluide. C’est le genre d’outil qui simplifie la vie sans faire semblant. En bref : fiable, précis et agréable à utiliser. Un achat que je recommande sans hésiter à ceux qui veulent mesurer vite et mesurer bien.
