I've been a long-time user of electrolyte tablets and powders that are added to and dissolved in water, which are great when I need to maintain my hydration and have fresh clean water available. But recently I traveled somewhere where access to clean potable water wasn't a given, and I was needing to filter my water with a single reservoir filtration system (sipping the clean water directly out of a filtering straw, rather than filtering contaminated water into a second clean water reservoir). I needed a way to get added electrolytes into my system without mixing it into the water first. I had a hard time in my search within grocery stores for electrolyte chewable or drops, then came across these tablets on Amazon. The price was reasonable and I was pleased to have a variety of flavors to try in a multi pack. All the flavors are yummy - a little salty, a little sweet, and fruity. My favorite is the watermelon. The tablets fizz a little in your mouth, in a plant way, and dissolve slowly if you just stuck on them or quickly if you chew them. I like to suck on them for a minute or so, then chew the remainder. I will keep buying these for a quick way to replenish electrolytes when I don't have clean water available, a container to hold water, or if I want to keep my water tasting like water and simply eat my electolytes.

Don’t chew these — they dissolve nicely with a mild fizz. The flavors are actually good and not salty at all. I’ve tried a lot of other electrolyte tabs and powders over the years, and these are the ones that finally work for me. They’re convenient to keep in my pocket and they’re genuinely effective. I work in a greenhouse every day and sweat a lot, so I need the minerals, and these deliver without the usual unpleasant taste or hassle.

PLEASE SEE MY EDIT BELOW Maybe great for some people. just not a fit for me I was so excited to get these ..I immediately got the container open and grabbed one ...threw the first one in my mouth .. bit down and fizzing foaming started, and my tongue was on fire. The foaming reminds me of candy I had when I was a kid, but I totally did not expect my mouth to have foam being created on top of my tongue. I returned mine ..well they gave me a refund for mine because I can’t take these. which is really unfortunate because they’re a great price. And looks like the flavors are great, but maybe it’s my particular mouth. I don’t know, but ... I couldn’t handle them. I was running for my water bottle. I want to get this product to my PT and he said why don’t you like these and I explained what was going on he said well then don’t chew them. See if you like them then. And that was a difference biting them was a bit much for me. I didn’t like that. There was so much foam in my mouth. I’m biting them, but the slow fizz when you just let them melt like a lozenge not bad at all in fact, it’s perfect. So I definitely want to update my review here and change my three star to a five star and I’ll let you know that I will be buying these again and I almost feel guilty that I got a refund. And the seller was kind enough to reach out to me and that was very nice too. I highly recommend these. Whether you’re gonna chew them or are you gonna let them dissolve slowly these are great. The price difference with the competition that’s out there is astronomical. And I want to thank venture Pal for coming out with such a great product.

I have used them to run two half marathons. The first time it was hot and also my first half so I kept eating one every mile starting from mile 6. I think that is why I had to use bathroom during my run! The second race I didn’t take so many and it was fine! So beware of taking too much in short amount of time unless your near a bathroom! The taste is good except for the lemon one. It is so sour I spit it out . But the other ones are fine and tastes like nerd smarty candy. I like how portable they are. When I run, I can’t be mixing things etc or carrying water so this helps.

I use a hydration bladder, so if I put anything other than clear water in it, it will take on that taste. So no Gatorade, no hydration powders, none of it. No need with these. I drink cool clear ice water and every half hour pop what seems like a piece of candy. When I'm very sweaty, every time I eat one of these I feel instantly refreshed. I did a very hot and sweaty hike today, normally I'd feel drained despite drinking plenty of water. Not so today, thanks to the electrolyte tablets. If it's not obvious so far, I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I bought the variety pack. Finished the lemon/lime, they were very pleasant. Doing the strawberry now, not quite as good but still pleasant. Probably going to restock with just the lemon/lime. I'm SO GLAD that I found this product!

A friend gave me one of these and it was so good! I had no idea these existed! They fizz a little on your tongue kind of like Pop Rocks do. I bought the strawberry and the flavor is great! Quick and easy way to hydrate in this 110 degree summer!

A must for anyone lookng to up their intake of electrolytes! My sister has Pots and always has these on hand. My blood pressure tends to run low so I also keep these in my purse and gym bag. We were doing pure salt packets but the taste was rough! These are a quick and conveinent way to get some electrolytes in that won't make you gag. They dissolve pretty quickly and taste great---strawberry flavor is the best!
