Great Quality EVSE, Easy Management and Setup
I've really enjoyed my Wallbox and setup / configuration was simple and straightforward. Build quality of the enclosure, cabling, and J1172 connector is great. I don't run at full tilt, I run it at 50A without issue and it charges at about .5 miles per minute into my car. The app is great and allows me to manage it from everywhere. You can go cheaper for a charger, but this balances quality and cost well. Only suggestion would be to make the circuit monitoring add-on (so you don't overload your service) more cost affective. I'll visit that part again down the road.

Poor quality
Poor quality. This will charge your EV however if you live in a cool or cold climate the charging cable is so brittle and cheap that it’s impossible to recoil after use. The earlier models were not like this. I purchased this one for a second location and it’s a big fail on quality compared my other one. More money less value !!! Seems to be the thing these days. I would avoid this charger.

Awesome charger!
The wallbox 48 amp pulsar plus is awesome. The app is excellent for managing the charger, and i love the fact that the output can go from 6-48 amps effortlessly. The cord is long at 25', and heavy duty. The charger also offers the ability to set when it atarts and stops. I use the amperage and charge times to maximize use of solar output. I recommend you also purchase the power meter that will enable the charger to automatically change it's output based on how much solar your panels put out. This is the best charger that i have used. Highly recommend. Note: Your EV's onboard inverter determines how fast it can charge. Most lower end Kias, Toyotas, Chevys and PHEVs max out at 32 amp charge speed (7.6kw/hr). Newer EVs (Audi, ford mustang/F150, BMW, Chevy Blazer) can charge at up to 48 amps (11.5kw/hr).

Solid charger, but not friendly for power users or smart home integration.
The Wallbox Pulsar Plus is compact, attractive, and works reliably for simple plug-and-charge use. As a basic Level 2 EVSE, it does its job well and the app is easy enough for day-to-day control. Where it falls short is in advanced integration. The OCPP implementation is inconsistent: my charger connects fine to both Home Assistant’s and EVCC’s OCPP servers, but remote start/stop and current-limit commands don’t actually control charging consistently. Sessions also sometimes stop unexpectedly. On top of that, the Wallbox cloud API has very tight request limits. Home Assistant or other systems that poll the API quickly trigger “too many requests” errors, which makes any kind of solar-aware or automated control unreliable. If you just want a dependable home charger you can manage through the Wallbox app, it’s great. But if you’re a power user looking to integrate it deeply into a smart home or solar setup, the current firmware and API limitations will be frustrating.

Great customer support
I had a problem connecting up two chargers on power share. Customer support can see the problem at their end and advise what is wrong. Thank you Brayson for your help! I have used Wallbox for my first ev for three years. I just added a second Wallbox to share power with my new Ioniq 5. Very happy with the 48 volt Pulsar Plus.

Saw a YouTube video on the unit.
both units that I had installed 4 years ago have given good service. The cord stays flexible and the connector handle is stout and connects crisply. Like the blue light that glows when charging. The light turns green when ready to accept a charge. The light will glow red if an issue occurs. I have a phev so the level 2 is fully adequate. Have never used a commercial charger. Both both units from Amazon.

Won't work in the sun
If you mount this charger in the sun, expect your charge current to drop dramatically on a warm sunny day. Mine is hardwired and will produce 48A no problem when it's cool out but if it 80F or above, you won't be able to charge at anything higher than 32A. I have been going through customer service and all they do is give me the runaround. Claim that my car is reducing the current demand because it is sitting at just above 62% SOC..WTH.

You will have to pay yearly 72 dollars to a OCCP vendor to share data from your resdential charger
Beware >Terrible company, Terrible customer support . For all New jersey customers please do not buy it. They dont host the charger after you buy it from them . For your energy provider(in my case JCPNL) to get the data from wall box they need your charger to be on the network. Wall box sources this to external vendors and they charge you money for sharing the data . I had a terribel time with the wall box customer support . Luckily I had charge point EV charger also installed atthe same time . Fabulous company and a great charger
