There is something about this wire that makes me buy it again and again, and makes me feel like it’s a great value! it’s pure copper strands and it feels, looks solid and as good as anything I ever bought for the sound transmission The cover is thick, but the wire is still flexible. Looks professional and the white looks better than the old school copper look. Getting the protective sleeve off is a bit of challenge but for me it’s worth it. Have a utility knife, wire strippers and if you have weaker hands, a pair of pliers or something to grip it with to remove from covering wires. It’s worth the effort to me as the results feel solid I use this with my higher end vintage M&K, Sansui, Pioneer, Timeframe, and other amps, speakers and to my ears, it delivers simple, clean sound at a great price. Don’t buy the hype, buy good wire and call it a day. This 14 gauge even works well with clip posts like on my Sansui 9090DB. 👌 Only thing I would do different, buy the 200ft if you are hooking up Atmos or have multiple equipment. This is my third 100ft in as many months, Lol

Much better quality than the CCA 16 gauge wire I was using for my speakers previously. It is a little harder to work with but that isn't that big of a deal if you have the right tools (a good wire stripper mainly). Does appear to be true copper. Signal is stronger with this cable than with the smaller CCA cable. I also didn't find any cheaper OFC wire anywhere else so this is the stuff to get.

Used several hundred feet of this wire for my media room, quality is solid and wire jacket feels great. Strand count is decent but for the price is fantastic. It makes my speakers make noise, what more do you want? Would buy again.

I really like these speaker wires! The ofc copper is very good and seems very high quality. I measured their resistance when brand new from end to end of the 100ft and the multimeter showed almost no change compared to touching the leads! I definitely recommend the Amazon basics 14awg 100ft product however only for certain projects. The twisted black and red wires are really good quality with just ok flexibility, but if your project requires splicing, cutting, removing the outer white layer multiple times, you may want to try a different cable. Seriously the outer white plastic on these are VERY thick and very hard to cut/splice open without cutting into the softer black:red wires! For my project, I need to cut 15 foot lengths, 4 times, as well as cut 2-3 feet of jumper wire to then splice into other speaker cable. This process took along time because you have to be very careful on how you splice open the outer shell. Also, because the internal wires are twisted, you can’t just cut down the middle smoothly. There is a tool that electricians use to cut open ROMEX cable that might make this a lot easier. However, you also need to take your time cutting back the white shell without cutting into the black/red insulation. One of my pics shows just how thick the white outer shell is and if you look close, you’ll see an open gap between layers. I’ve never used quality in wall cl2/cl3 speaker wire, but I suspect the outer insulation isn’t nearly as hard. That said, I still highly recommend this cable, ESPECIALLY for the price!!! I had shopped for months until I came across these on sale and was going to just run 16awg OFC white wire and keep the cuts below 15feet, with the Amazon basics cable I was able to run 14awg and not worry about wire lengths at all. Also, I wanted some extra for other projects like adding subs to 2 other vehicles. Hope this helps!

Running about 25ft of this to a KEF Q1 Meta paired with a Wiim amp, and sound quality comes through clean with no noticeable signal loss or interference. 14-gauge and oxygen-free copper construction feels like a genuine step up in build quality compared to cheaper speaker wire. Only real complaint is the 100ft length, wish there was a 50ft option at a lower price point since not everyone needs the full run. Would still buy again just for the quality, just wish the shorter length existed as an option.

using this cable for my 5.1.4 home theatre system with Klipsh speakers connected to Denon AVR-X4500H. Once you connect it then forget. This is once n for all. No need to worry about losing signals from AVR to speakers. I highly recommend this rather than breaking your bank for overly priced cables from other brands.

I've bought several units of this cable for some indoor and outdoor speakers. The cable is great quality, feels "solid" and whilst it is rigid due to the solid core nature of the cable it is flexible enough that if you are pulling it under the floor etc it is easy enough to do. Compared to other brands this is absolutely great value and works exactly as expected. The only thing I could ask is for them to do a black version however for the cost it is absolutely not a deal breaker

Compré este cable para conectar unos altavoces Polk Atrium 6 instalados en el jardín, donde necesitaba una tirada relativamente larga y quería utilizar una sección suficiente para no penalizar la calidad del sonido. El cable me ha dado muy buen resultado. Tiene un buen grosor para este tipo de instalaciones y resulta lo bastante flexible como para pasarlo por canaletas y realizar la instalación sin demasiadas dificultades. El aislamiento exterior también me ha parecido correcto y los conductores se identifican fácilmente, lo que facilita bastante la conexión de los altavoces y evita errores de polaridad durante el montaje. En mi caso lo terminé con conectores banana y el conjunto funciona perfectamente. La calidad del sonido ha sido excelente y no he tenido ningún problema durante la instalación. En mi caso me habría venido mejor que también estuviera disponible en color negro para disimular más la instalación, pero es simplemente una preferencia estética. Si buscas un cable con una buena relación calidad-precio para un equipo de audio doméstico o una instalación de cierta longitud, me parece una compra muy recomendable.
