Altec Lansing Portable Bluetooth Speaker HYDRABOOM 2.0, 32W Output Power, 16Hr Playtime, Party Sync, Qi Wireless Charging, Everything-Proof, Voice Assistant Compatible - Black

This speaker is ideal for bringing with me everywhere I go. It is compact and packs easily in a beach, tote or duffle bag so I can listen to music anywhere. The construction is super rugged, it feels well built. Not only that but it is waterproof, this thing could be submerged in water and keep playing. It even floats on water! There are several convenient ways to carry it from the built in handle to the carabiner or mounting brackets for a handlebar. One of the coolest and most thoughtful features is the wireless charging pad on top so I can charge my phone while I listen. All these features add up to a thoughtfully designed speaker that is really a pleasure to use. I haven’t even gotten to the sound yet, wow does this thing pack a punch. My music sounds loud and clear. I can really crank it up and it sounds incredible across all volumes. It was perfect for last weekend when I was working outside and I just set it up in the area I was working and turned up my tunes so I could hear it everywhere. Excellent sound quality and excellent battery life too. Even charging my phone while it plays, the battery lasts all day. An incredible speaker at this price point.

Don't let the compact size of this speaker fool you, it may be small but it packs a pretty good punch with the sound! This speaker even has a wireless charger built into it so you can charge your phone while you enjoy the music. It's water resistant too, so I can take it to the river and not worry about getting it wet. The speaker lasts a very long time, even when using the wireless charger at the same time. Overall for the price and size of this speaker you are getting your monies worth.

This speaker has great sound but won't play past 50% volume if it's 20% battery or below and it only plays at max volume for an hour and a half tops.

Its loud but, these speakers just aren't loud like, neighbors complaining type loud.

The size of this speaker is perfect for taking nearly anywhere. It is small but mighty. Not only is it portable, loud and powerful with great sound quality but it is also waterproof AND floats. It definitely has all bases covered. It goes everywhere with me - I literally can toss it in my handbag because who knows when I will need it! The voice assistant feature is unique and makes things so simple - it allows me to easily control it hands free. It has a long lasting battery life.

The Bluetooth connectivity is glitchy and unreliable.

A bit heavy, but it works well. Nice and loud for what I needed. It may be a bit bass heavy, but that is what popular music over-emphasizes now, and for my use, it’s perfect. We also needed to use the Altec Lansing ‘party mode’, which is only on the v2.0 devices (so make sure you get any of the HYDRA products with the 2.0 designation if you plan to use their party mode).

Works great. Plays for a long time on a charge. Very clear sound.
