This computer is a BEAST
Super fast. I purchased this for my own software development projects. I'm able to run multiple IDEs, VMs and other apps at the same time with no degrade in performance. You can't beat the price for the amount of hardware you get with this product.

It gets hot pretty quickly, but it's definitely better than other laptops I've had and if you use a cooling pad ur golden. It sometimes runs a bit slow, but that could be user error. Touchscreen is what is needs to be at least for me, not as sensitive as a phone but I don't need too much force to do things. For instance I could literally play roblox mobile. I can't say much to the durability because I havent dropped it. I'd say it's worth the money after having it for almost a year. It's less than a MacBook neo for reference and has better specs in some areas, but not as sleek as an apple product of course. Only thing I hate is battery life, but that's the same for most laptops of this kind and at this budget. I'd say if you do heavy editing or gaming this is NOT FOR YOU, but if you're more of a casual laptop user for light games like roblox, stardew valley, and even sims (base game and some mods/cc no packs) I've never tested fortnite or anything like that. Good for what it is.

Quality Control is a joke
I’m writing this on 3 AM in Sunday morning. Right out of the box, the laptop won’t power on. Plugged it in for a few hours thinking maybe the battery is completely drained. It shouldn’t, but I gave it a few hours. Afte that tried a few other things recommended by Google. Hard resetting or whatever they called it. Still it won’t power on. This is what I found. Alternating blinking orange and white light next to the charging port means “ failing battery” according to Google. Where is your quality control, Dell? Thank you for wasting my Saturday evening.

This Dell product offered the best value for price. It has a fast processor, huge amount of space & great screen. The battery life could be better at about 4.5 hours & and backlit feature would have been a feature.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This seems to have the cpu power and functionality, and it has not disappointed. Keyboard is easy to use and screen size is great.
