I bought this Bluetooth adapter to connect my desktop PC to Bluetooth speakers, but unfortunately my experience has been very poor. The adapter connects initially and works for a short time, but after a few minutes it suddenly disconnects. When this happens, the Bluetooth icon disappears from the Windows 10 settings and the device also disappears from Device Manager. I have to unplug and plug the adapter again to make it work temporarily. While troubleshooting, I checked the Windows Event Viewer and repeatedly saw errors such as BTHUSB Event ID 17, which indicates that the Bluetooth adapter fails and the driver gets unloaded. This suggests that the hardware or chipset may not be stable. I also confirmed that the USB ports on my PC are working fine because other devices like my mouse work perfectly in the same port. So the issue seems specific to this Bluetooth adapter. I tried multiple fixes including: - Reinstalling drivers - Disabling USB power saving - Using different USB ports But the problem continues. Because of these frequent crashes and disconnections, the adapter is not reliable for continuous use. I would recommend considering a more stable Bluetooth adapter with a better chipset.

Works fine but if budget is high purchase tplink or just buy pci wifi bluetooth card

This was my second purchase for the same item. I thought it wouldn't work again, but I was wrong; it worked well and fine. One thing, but only if you need 3-4 metres of range; otherwise, you see better options.

I would bhave given 5 stars but the actual very imp problem in this dongle is 1. It's csr 4.0 ..5.0 driver will not work. 2. They say it is plug and play in windows 10/11 but when we plug it it get different wrong driver downloaded and gets not working. Soln..we have to install driver from chrome by searching csr harmony then we need to install that app it will create new bt tab in my pc otherwise it will not work. Signal is up to 6m and quality is pretty good . But installing drivers is pretty tricky.

Best product While connecting with PC please make sure that your bluetooth earbuds or Headphone or speaker are not connected with other equipment like mobile, otherwise you will be confused that bluetooth is not connecting.

This is good when it connects but getting it work on a desktop is a nightmare. It maybe my piece but it is so horrible. It worked well for the first few days and as soon as the return period of amazon was over, it started giving me problems. First of all, i wanted this to connect it to my senheisser studio headphones for monitoring audio of my editing. My headphone jacks keep busting and I didn’t want to invest in a usb system so bought this. I would not give such a bad review if all it did was stop working. However, this dongle damaged something of my Senheissers! They can connect to multiple devices at a time. Bu after using this dongle to connect them to my pc, they couldn’t connect with any other devices. I usually keep them connected to my phone and ipad all day. But after using this dongle to connect them to my pc, they stopped connecting to 2 devices. They only connected with either my phone or ipad at a time. I totally hate whoever made this crappy dongle. It’s one thing if your dongle stops working and its other when it damages your studio headphones! I somehow got my senheissers fixed with a lot of RnD (couldn’t afford sending them to the service centre as I couldn’t wait the usual 10-15 days it takes them to send it back). In short, don’t get this dongle unless you wanna blow up your expensive headphones.

updated review : worked only for a month. then started showing intermittent technical glitches. old review : good value for money!! worked with windows 11 (10, 8, 7, xp,...) , chrome flex, linux, ios.... good gr8 service for the DIYERS by the Amazon. new addendum: bluetooth stopped working after 40days of use as computer bt-speakers wireless connectivity.
