I use gaming laptops and they are usually heavy and get very hot. I like to lie on the sofa with the laptop on my belly while I play, and I must have a stand so I don't burn myself! This stand is perfect. It is adjustable so I can make it comfortable to type and raise the screen to feel good. This is one of the very few metal ones I've found, and it's sturdy mesh to support even a heavy machine. The hinges and adjustable stand are all metal and I don't worry about it breaking. An addition plus to me is that the bottom is the same full metal mesh across the entire surface, so I can actually balance it on my belly or on my knees and it is sturdy. There is ample air flow to allow the fans to cool the machine as much as possible without worrying about touching it.

This is the third computer stand I tried and success at last! The other 2 were slippery and very precarious for my computer. It is very high quality construction, requires no assembly and is adjustable to 7 different heights. It is more expensive than the other ones but is worth every penny in my opinion.

Wow! I wish I had ordered this earlier. It is a great way to allow air flow under a laptop. The adjustable stand allows for better viewing. I can easily set it on my lap to work

Good quality, sturdy. Holds my ~7 lb. laptop. Only drawback is I find that the tabs at the bottom of the top panel that secure the laptop in place dig into my wrist/palms.

Solid built, I received this stand today. I didn't have to put anything together. it's exactly what the images show on Amazon very simple. Previously I was using my 17in Laptop on my bed and it kept overheating, I realized it was because of no ventilation underneath. I'm so happy I chose this one because I initially had something different in the cart and the system brought up this item and I automatically knew this was what I was looking for. This stand is amazing, the quality is incredible, and it's really heavy. I like to take it to bed with me to watch YouTube videos without worrying about overheating my laptop's fan, since it sits on a base with plenty of holes for ventilation. I recommend it for young people or adults who don't have any hand problems, because, as I said, the product is heavy, and I wouldn't want anyone to hurt their hands because of its weight. I really liked it a lot and would definitely buy it again.

After buying several other flimsy stands of different types, all saying it will fit a 17.3 inch Laptop and finding if it was a 17.3 inch junk laptop, then you would be good to put it on the others I had bought and hopefully it would fall to the floor and I would have a reason to buy a new one. (BUT) if it;s a 1,500.00 + laptop that would be crazy!! This stand is a absolute MUST have laptop stand for anything above 15.6 inch laptops if you don't want to chance loosing an expensive investment.... Totally satisfied with this stand and feeling a relief that my laptop is secured and safely held on this stand!! can't say enough good things about it

La prima impressione, estraendo il prodotto dall' imballaggio, non sembra evidenziare una gran qualità. Invece una volta inserito il fermacavi in gomma ed appoggiato il supporto sulla scrivania si inizia a percepirne la solidità e stabilità, soprattutto nella posizione più bassa, ossia con la grata appoggiata alla base di supporto. La conferma l'ho avuta appoggiandoci sopra il mio Dell 7520, che pesa 3 Kg abbondanti: non si muove neppure ad urtarlo. Inoltre, cosa da non sottovalutare, il metallo assorbe il calore dalla base del notebook, dissipandolo passivamente. Indubbiamente un buon prodotto!

I was in the market for a stand for maschine MK3 as I found that the screens were a little bit of a strain whilst on a flat surface. Native instruments own stand is £50 for a piece of metal that really didn’t seem worth it and other laptop stands seemed too flimsy for what I wanted to use it for. So I headed my bets on this one based on its spec and features and, I can happily say it was a great choice. Sturdy metal build for finger drumming, adjustable angle for whatever I will be doing on the device, the rubber pads make sure it does not move and at half the cost of natives non adjustable stand. Tiny bit of overhang at the top but it’s a laptop stand.

This product is really well built unit, all metal construction, except the cord separator. If this item had cooling fans it would be perfect, short of cooling fans, it is perfect on it's own. It's strong, lightweight, and reinforced. The cushioned metal legs, that stop the laptop from sliding off are a perfect height. I bought this for a 16 inch Lenovo Legion gaming Computer, it fits perfect. Whether on a table or on your lap, it is strong and will not break. I bought this to replace a Klim cooling pad with 5 year warranty, because of a very weak plastic bottom only lasted 10 days before it broke! Quality cost money, a little on the expensive side, but a solid, well constructed metal cooling stand that will last years, not months, not days... Years! And if your handy, or know someone who is, could probable hook up a fan to provide, extra cooling.
