Idemitsu CVT Type SB2 Transmission Fluid for Subaru – 1 Qt, Case of 12

Bought this for cvt fluid drain and refill for my 2018 Forester, with 165,000 miles and its working great. This was my first cvt fluid service, so I did a double drain and fill, drinking around for about 30 min in between the two. Although my car wasn't having any issues I felt it was time to rejuvenate the cvt fluid to maintain performance. The car seems to be more responsive when starting from a stop and accelerating in general, so maybe it was overdue for the fluid replacement.

Idemitsu is the OEM supplier for Subaru CVT fluid. Buying this saved me a few bucks over individual quarts of Subaru branded fluid. Recommend.

This stuff is supposed to be as good or better than OEM Subaru CVT fluid. It works well so far. And it's definitely a lot cheaper than taking it to a dealership and having a flush and fill done

2010 Subaru Outback CVT ... have been using this for several thousand miles instead of OEM fluid, and works just fine ... if your subie takes the "green" CVT fluid, this works excellent! I even used this after dropping the CVT valve body and replacing the lock up solenoid, so I had to replace with almost exactly 10 qts of fluid.

Exactly the same as the Subaru version but a lot cheaper. This company IS the one who makes the Subaru version.

Works great, replaced old CVT fluids in Forester by circulating & draining twice. Hope it becomes available again.
