Great product!
I’m extremely impressed with the Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse and would happily give it five stars. It delivers excellent performance, reliability, and comfort, making it a fantastic choice for both gaming and everyday computer use. The wireless connection is incredibly responsive, with no noticeable lag or interruptions, providing the same dependable experience you would expect from a wired mouse. The HERO 12K sensor is a standout feature, offering precise and accurate tracking that works perfectly for fast-paced gaming, detailed tasks, and general browsing. The adjustable DPI settings make it easy to customise the sensitivity to suit different games and preferences. The mouse feels lightweight and comfortable in the hand, with a shape that works well for long gaming sessions without causing discomfort. Battery life is another major advantage, lasting for a long time before needing a replacement, which makes it very convenient for wireless use. The build quality feels excellent, with responsive buttons and a solid design that should withstand regular use. Overall, the Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED is an outstanding wireless gaming mouse that offers premium performance at a great price. It combines accuracy, comfort, durability, and impressive battery life in one compact package. I would highly recommend it to gamers or anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality wireless mouse. Five stars!

ubeatable for the price
I've been using the Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED for both gaming and everyday computer use, and it continues to impress me. It manages to deliver the performance of a premium gaming mouse without the premium price tag. The LIGHTSPEED wireless technology is the standout feature. The connection is incredibly responsive, and I honestly can't tell the difference between this and a wired gaming mouse. Whether playing fast-paced shooters or strategy games, tracking remains smooth and accurate with no noticeable lag or dropouts. The HERO sensor performs exceptionally well, providing precise movement and consistent tracking across a wide range of sensitivity settings. It's easy to customise the DPI to suit different games and tasks, making the mouse versatile for both gaming and productivity. Comfort is another strong point. The mouse has a simple, ergonomic shape that works well for extended gaming sessions. It's lightweight enough to move quickly but still feels solid and well-built in the hand. The buttons have a satisfying click, and the side buttons are positioned conveniently without being easy to press accidentally. Battery life is excellent. Using a single AA battery means you don't have to worry about charging cables, and it lasts much longer than I expected between replacements. Pros: Fast and reliable LIGHTSPEED wireless performance Accurate HERO sensor with excellent tracking Lightweight and comfortable design Outstanding battery life Responsive buttons and scroll wheel Great value for money Cons: Uses disposable batteries rather than a rechargeable battery No RGB lighting for those who prefer a more customisable gaming setup Overall, the Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED is one of the best wireless gaming mice available in its price range. It delivers excellent performance, impressive battery life, and reliable wireless connectivity in a comfortable and lightweight package. Whether you're a casual gamer or a competitive player, it's an easy recommendation.

When it is on sale for £25 odd or less...
...one cannot get away from the fact that this is one of the best value gaming mice out there. The quality of the buttons and the wheel is just amazing. The shape is known quantity and the sensor and the wireless subsystem perform top notch. Also, I am one of those who prefer just to swap a rechargeable battery when needed, as opposed to charging regularly. For the most balanced feel, use the AAA to AA adapter. It is really a noticeable upgrade and the mouse stops feeling little bit rear heavy.

Great mixed-use mouse.
A very decent wireless mouse from Logitech here. It feels accurate and reliable both in productivity environments and in games. It's comfortable for long use and is robust enough to take plenty of accidental floor drops. Set up is no nonsense: dongle in and off you go. Battery life is excellent. Although, I must say the little indicator light colours that sometimes appear on top of the mouse are a bit esoteric in their purpose. I did read the manual and learned what they meant at some point in the past, but promptly forgot it all and haven't been bothered to reference it again! For instance you'd think the occasional appearance of a solid red light when switching the mouse on would mean battery low, but I've still had batteries go on to live for at least a month or two after seeing it so who knows! Whatever, the light is tiny and barely something to notice. Another minor gripe is the lower side button is very exposed and knocking against your thumb, your keyboard, drink or whatever else happens to be there will click it a little too easily. In windows that can mean hitting "back" on the internet browser. Just a small thing which to be fair, all mice with side buttons are prone to. It doesn't have the coloured LED bells and whistles of fancier gaming mice found on the market. That's no loss if the 'bling' is doesn't matter to you. If you're an e-sports level gamer who needs some sort of super-programmable feather-light beast with 18 customised buttons on it and 1ms lag, then I doubt you're reading this page to begin with! For everyone else, you'll get all the necessary FPS game performance you need right here. I find six buttons is about as much as my brain can track when gaming anyway. Any more and I get too muddled! At time of posting, expect to pay 30ish quid for it making it a great sweet spot offering and a lot of mouse for the money. Much more expensive gear will offer increasingly small performance increases, and cheaper gear is likely to have major issues of reliability and quality.

Lightweight, fast and cheap - perfect for gamers that want to reduce wire clutters
Been using this for over 4 years now, it really is a faultless gaming mouse. The responses are rapid and there is never any delays. It is very lightweight for a wireless mouse too and has a great ergonomic feel due to its compact size. It offers fantastic stability and has a great minimalist design too. I've always been a fan of Logitech so I may be a bit biased but if this one fails on me I will absolutely buy another one.

So good I bought it twice!
I really can’t fault this mouse – it’s become my daily driver for both work and gaming. When I misplaced the dongle, I didn’t hesitate to buy the exact same model again, which says a lot about how much I rate it. For the price, you can’t go wrong. The mouse feels light without being flimsy, and I use it with a standard AA battery (not the smaller AAA with a converter). The main buttons have a satisfying, positive click, while the side buttons are there if you want them, though I don’t personally use them. The scroll wheel is smooth and reliable, though it’s not the free-spinning “infinity” style if that’s something you’re after. Tracking has been responsive both on my mouse mat and directly on my wooden desk. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be great if Logitech sold the dongles separately – they’re small and easy to misplace, and having a replacement option would make this already excellent mouse even better.

Good price, good quality fast delivery
I bought this for my son who games every day for hours and end. Mouses don’t last very long with him as he even wears them out or they get a broken or thrown across the room. The price was good, but this one hasn’t lasted as long as the last one and he’s on another one already. The build quality seems quite good and it’s very responsive.

Favourite mouse
Hands down my favourite mouse. Great balance between work and gaming, I need the mouse to feel a little bit so not a fan of the sub 80g mouse, after a year or so the mouse does have a double click issue on the right click. Battery lasts long, really long. Dpi adjustment etc is easy with the ghub software and the dpi button. 3rd mouse in 5-6years, if you do the math each lasts about 1-2 years. I don’t particularly like the Logitec software but I’ve made peace with jt

Left click died in 1 week
I bought this mouse after waiting 12 days for delivery. Just after 1 week if use the left click died. Very strange to see big brands like Logitech delivering such poor quality products. Luckily this happened under the return window so i have initiated a refund.

Perfect
The mouse is so amazing. Love it. I am the owner of g903 - the mouse which is top of the line and 4 times more expensive than 305. Unfortunately after 1year the infamous double clicking failure started so mouse became unusable( 305 is almost the same in experience and now I see it was a big mistake to go for a more expensive one. Mouse is equally light and comfy in hand. Connection is perfectly stable. Logitech software is working in the same way and helps to customize mouse behavior/ settings/ buttons/ macros etc. in the same way. Have no doubts. This is the mouse you are looking for. Perfect value for this price.

Casi perfecto
