32 Piece Black Dinnerware Sets for 8, Handmade Black Plates and Bowls Set

When receiving this order I was ecstatic about the look and feel of this set of stoneware for 4. They are not flimsy or lightweight and the matte finish is a beautiful black color, not just a dark grey. I was very satisfied until I started closely examining each dish for possible flaws. I discovered that 1 of each type of plate & bowl had minor manufacturing flaws: white spots caused by bubbles in the finish on 2 dishes & missing black finish areas on 2 other dishes. The company that sells these products had included 2 methods by which to contact them if there was an issue with the dishes. I chose to call them (Germany) and left a voice mail message. They called me back a few hours later. I explained what I had discovered in the set of new dishes and offered to e-mail pictures of the flaws. The woman I was speaking with said that the pictures were unnecessary and stated that the company would immediately ship replacements. I was pleasantly surprised at the speed & courtesy of the company's response. Three days later there was a large box that showed up with an existing Amazon order. Not only had Pure Living sent me the 4 replacement dishes, they sent an entire NEW set of stoneware. Phenomenal. They have earned these 5 stars, and then some.

Amazing - was not sure what to expect but two main comments. First, the product is extremely well made and look great. Just exactly what I was looking for. Second, customer service was incredible. Had one plate break - called - got a call back within 24 hours. And a replacement received within 3 days. Great product and great and friendly service.

This is a beautiful set of stoneware, the only problem I have with them is the bottom is rough and could scratch the table if someone doesn’t leave them on the placemat.

This set is substantial (not cheap or fragile). I like the lip on the plates. I will say that I can see all of the scratch marks caused by utensils. I think it might be because it’s a matte finish. There’s no gloss to protect it from scratches.

Cery nice dushes. One chip on a bowl but they were very good to work with regarding a replacement.
