Great product, ive used before and will use again
Great product. Leatherjackets were eating all the grass roots in my garden, I've used this product twice a year and the problem has disappeared. It is worth mentioning though that you will have to continue to use this for a couple of years, as adult craneflys will return to the place they hatched from each year, so its a long term fix

It works
This works but you have to use it more than once. Used it back at the beginning of the summer and although the grass recovered we were infested with daddy long legs at the end of September and had to treat it again. We have been told that daddy long legs have a 3 year cycle so although, once again, the lawn is looking ok there are probably things lurking in the soil that will rear their ugly heads again next spring. Easy to use but I’m guessing we will be doing it a few more times before we have totally eliminated the problem.

Going back to the roots
A couple of years ago I laid a lawn from scratch with seed. The following year though I did notice patches but thought nothing of it so I put some more seed down to fill the patches, year after that I experienced more patches and I was puzzled as one year it is fully green but the next year it was yellow and patchy. I investigated and I noticed some maggot looking creatures under the patchy lawn and I was told they are Leather Jackets, as I am new to this Gardening this is something you learn along the way as if I already known about this you can treat your lawn right from the start so I purchased this product to hopefully help with the remedy of getting my lawn back to how I had it. I have used this in Late April as the weather is warmer and as long as you follow the instructions on applying it in moist and warm soil conditions over 10 Degrees C and finger crossed this product will work and I know it will need to be purchased again and re applied in August to October and next year will determine weather this has worked.

Lawn restored, highly effective pesticide.
A bit difficult to dissolve but extremely effective. Just use the recommended small amounts, diluting correctly. Then add a small amount of water to the residue mixing thoroughly and throw on to the lawn.

Safe and effective solution
I think I just used these little creatures in time. Combined with the help of the birds - no need to aerate now - the grass is showing signs of recovery and should be in good condition in time for next year's growing season. Highly recommend.

Grass destroyed by Leatherbacks
Dragonflies have completely destroyed our three areas of grass and we have been treating it over the last years ( but only September) so this years we covered the whole areas in turpuline after wetting it and left for 48 hours ( the leather jackets think its night ) when we pull off the turpuline there were hundreds of them on the surface ( very big ) too so got them all completely then left the bids to eat any we missed we had to then completely dig up the worse area .Then we used this solution as directed and in next few days will put new grass seed ........so wish us luck !!!!!we keep you up to date with our journey lol

This product appeared to clear up the problem so I'm very pleased and have now sown a new lawn
My lawn was completely decimated apart from a very small patch. This product appeared to clear up the problem so I'm very pleased and have now sown a new lawn. However, I hear from reliable sources that such an infestation could necessitate a further treatment and I shall do this to avoid a lawnless summer!
