Highly recommend Prodigy for testing blood sugar for several reasons. It talks, replacement test strips and lancets are reasonably priced, everything you need to test blood glucose fits perfectly in a small zippered pouch. Very pleased with this meter and products!

The new one seems more consistent, than the old Prodigy. I have both and have tried them side by side, twice on the same needle stick, a couple of times (four tests each time). 10500 was consistent and the reading was lower. How does one complain about that?

I've had a Prodigy meter 15 + years. Still working Great. Cheepiest meter I could find and test strips are also cheap. I needed another one because I'm on vacation 17000 miles from home for the winter and forgot mine. I will just leave this here in my winter home. LOVE the meter and very accurate and easy.

Set up was easy. Seems to work okay. It only came with 10 lancets though. I had some left from my previous unit so I’m good for a while.

This product is definitely A1.My husband was wearing sensors that would just stop working in the middle of the night. This sensor does talk believe or not. Absolutely amazing. If you have a blind family member or vision impaired elderly family member please get this. If patients have vision issues this is wonderful product. No I am not an influencer. We needed an additional meter for my husband to keep at work and this works great. it was inexpensive and came with enough starter strips to make it a great value. I bought a second to keep in the car.
