Looks great in my kitchen, like really great! Not to glossy and not to dull, very dark color but still pleasant.

I have light woodgrain cabinets. This paint needs a minimum of three coats before it covers. I had to order a whole Nother box just to finish the job. Had to known taken three coats I would not have purchased this.

This review is for the Rust-Oleum 374678 Cabinet Transformations Kit, Pure White 0.50 Gallon (Pack of 1). Note that this kit is definitely NOT enough in quantity to do many cabinets. However, we purchased this with the hopes of doing a TRIAL run covering up some ugly / dated light oak cabinets to our satisfaction. The reason for the trial is that we're buying a new place soon, and if we can succeed with a kit like this, we knew we could happily purchase a new home that has cabinets in good quality, but in a color not to our liking. I highly recommend you read the instructions IN DEPTH -- BEFORE -- you start touching the cabinets. We also watched some instructional videos online which helped me push down my nervousness at screwing this project up! The kit says to wait 24 hours after application before using the cabinets. However, I HIGHLY recommend you wait much longer, perhaps even 48 hours or more (if you can) so that this can properly cure without any scratches, divots, etc. All told, it sure is cheaper than replacing cabinets. However, I've replaced entire kitchens DIY and using out of the box cabinets, and I'd prefer to do that (even with the extra costs) than to do this ever again. For the price of approximately $55 at present, to cover 100 square feet of cabinet doors, it's a marginal value. The amount of work and attention it takes to do this well is beyond my attention span these days.
