Excellent service for replacing failed Docking Station
I ordered a used HP USB-C Universal docking station from Just Laptops via Amazon in June 2022. The unit worked perfectly for my dual-head set-up until last week, although it always ran quite hot. Then it failed, right at the start of a Teams call. You know what they say.... well I do anyway. I called Just Laptops to see what could be done and although the device only had 3 months warrantee as it was preowned, they offered to replace it at no cost if I would pay the return shipping costs. No argument with that! I needed the replacement promptly so as I was leaving London on the A3, I drove over to Leatherhead, exchanged the Docking Station and away home to install it. Presto, back 'on air' again. So, I call that excellent service and I'd be happy to use them again.

Excellent Docking Station for Twin Screen Set Up
I'm very pleased with this. Being somewhat techncially inept I was preparing myself for confusion. However, I just plugged in both monitors and hey presto it works as I'd hoped. Means I can alos leave my external hard drive permanently connected. I use two different laptops. The USB adapter is perfect as one has a USB-C. I can't get it to work with both screens on my mac, but that isn't an issue for me.

Great universal USBC hub
It can drive 2 4k monitors at 60hz. Great for home office requirements. Only arrived today but I can't see it having any problems.

Funktioniert gut mit Linux
Ich habe das HP Dock für meinen Home Office Arbeitsplatz von meinem Arbeitgeber erhalten, wo es unter Windows 10 per Thunderbolt sehr stabil und gut funktioniert. Als ich mir ein USB-C / Displaylink kompatibles Laptop zulegte war mir klar, dass ich genau dasselbe Dock noch einmal für mich selbst brauche und erstand es gebraucht im Amazon Warehouse Deal. Kurz die Eckdaten: - Getestete Distributionen: Debian Buster + Bullseye, Ubuntu 19.04 und Fedora 30 (alle x86-64) - Mit allen Distributionen funktionieren USB und LAN einwandfrei. Anstöpseln und loslegen. - Bei allen Distributionen war Handarbeit nötig um den Displaylink zu nutzen - Ubuntu funktionierte gefühlt am besten und einfachsten - Fedora funktioniert mit passendem RPM (Google hilft) ähnlich gut - Debian ist etwas hakelig und braucht Handarbeit, funktioniert so la la Fazit: Das Dock macht was es soll - es versorgt mein Laptop über nur ein USB-C Kabel sowohl mit Strom und transportiert Daten schnell und stabil. Der Displaylink ist - unter Linux - nur über "schmutzige" händische Installation eines unsignierten Treibers von der Displaylink Homepage nutzbar. Hierzu muss "Secure Boot" deaktiviert werden, damit unsignierte Kernel Treiber überhaupt geladen werden können. Abgesehen davon funktioniert das Dock unter Linux wie auch Windows gleichermaßen gut und einwandfrei. Kaufempfehlung.

Lamentable calidad, lo pedí en Noviembre y ha dejado de funcionar dos veces por sobrecalentamiento. Tuve que pedir uno nuevo a los tres meses y el nuevo ha durado menos de seis
