lovely deck, perfect size
I love Biddy's deck. Although it is fairly simplistic, kept in three colours gold, white and purple, it does not lack detail. The meaning of the cards is clear, the symbols are obvious and easy to read. The LWB is quite elaborate for an LWB with plenty of information. The cardstock is very thick, it was slightly sticky to begin with, which I think is a result of the golden coating of the edges (note: the gold is a bit duller than on the advertised photo). However, after a few minutes of shuffling the cards were nicely separated and there is no more problem at all. I find the size is perfect for shuffling. The only things that could be better is the box design. It looks great, but the plastic that contains the cards is super difficult to open. I had to cut off one corner which makes it easier to get the latch out and open the box.

The perfect handbag deck
Nice little basic tarot set, all images are white, gold and purple, smaller cards than the usual tarot size, perfect handbag size, or will be when I make them a bag instead of the chunky box 😊They are very much based on the Rider-Smith-Waite tradition, but sometimes it's nice having a stripped back set, especially if you want something blunt and to the point. I'm not sure why they're being punted as being 'new agey', they're no more so than the traditional RWS deck, and every reader will interpret them in their own style, and with whatever vibe they get from them.I also like the LWB, it's actually quite substantial and sturdy, with sewn pages, making it nice and durable for popping in your handbag or pocket, and the basic meanings are there. The colours are nice to work with, purple is a nice soothing colour the gold is Matt and muted, the cards are also edged in the same matt gold, which is a really nice detail, backs are reversible, and card stock is phenomenal, smooth and buttery which is always my preference.I didn't have any problems unboxing my set, nor have any sticking with them.Great little deck especially for the price, which was £7.19 on Amazon Prime.

Practical and intuitive
A practical size to hold and shuffle. Easy to carry in your day bag. The pictures on the cards support the meanings and lend themselves to intuitive reading. The booklet is there if you've not quite mastered interpretation yet. It's full of clear information and doesn't overwhelm.I've bought a variety of decks recently, some beautifully designed, but this is my now my go-to deck for everyday use.The plastic box is fiddly and annoying. I've binned it.

Almost perfect!
First lets look at the positives! This is a lovely tarot deck; stylish, modern, beautifully designed. The images, which are charming in their simplicity, still follow the usual stories you'd expect to find in the cards. The card stock is great quality and made to last and they are edged in matt gold which really gives them an attractive look. At less than £10 and a convenient pocket size, this is almost the perfect deck! Now for the negatives. There are strange, white smudges throughout this deck. At first I thought mine were damaged until I looked it up and realized they are meant to look like that! It's on all the backs of the cards, the booklet and some of the faces. For me, it really spoils the design. I don't understand why they would chose this sharp, 3 colour look and then mar it with out-of-place smudges of white. It's really a shame they did that. The cards are also very sticky at first. You'll need to go through them and separate them individually a few times and shuffle them a lot before they are useable. Lastly, I am not a fan of the inner plastic box. It would have been much nicer if they came in a regular, cardboard box. But all in all, the negatives are, as I said, minor and far outweighed by the positives! I do not regret buying this deck!

Fab for the price!!
My first tarot deck, I wanted to try it out and see how I felt about it. Turns out I love it! I definitely recommend this to anyone starting out as it's small, informative and it's got all of the cards (as far as I know as a beginner). I've seen some of the reviews saying that theirs looked "second-hand" so I wanted to say that mine came with the cards sealed and no obvious damage or wear and tear from previous use, it looked brand new. I also saw that others had a hard time opening the plastic case that the cards are in, I had this problem too, I found that it's because the bends in the plastic weren't bent enough so I just creased the bend more and it's fine now. Anyway, it's a lovely little set that I think I'm going to get lots of use out of and for the price it's really really nice.

Lovely, Art Deco styled, Rider-Waite Deck in a handy poker deck size.
Lovely deck, reminds me of Art Deco style. Cards a little stiff and 'sticky' but do shuffle well. I think the stickiness will go after a while. I see some people have had issues with the plastic box, but I've taken a photo to show how it opens - it's like a conventional card box but in clear plastic. There are some little sellotape tabs to open, and the deck is wrapped in cellophane but I had no problem opening it. Cards are a nice style, simple colour scheme, and keep most (but not all) of the Rider Waite symbology. Interestingly, some male figures are changed to female, but this does not in any way change the meanings of the cards. The deck is sized like a poker deck, so is easier to hold in the hands, and spreads don't take up acres of table space. I'd recommend a purple/gold tarot cloth for spreads to match.

Cute, modern
Lovely deck, great simple images which reflect the Rider-Waite imagery and symbolism. Well packaged - the plastic box is very very awkward but works ok when it's been used a few times. Overall package is too bulky for a handbag. The little book is lovely and is stitched rather than glued, so it's very good quality and should last a lifetime. Colouring and styling of images is really nice, cardstock is smooth and good quality but the golden edges make the deck 'sticky' and difficult to shuffle. I am hoping that will get better with time and use. Overall, a lovely, simple, every day deck.

A must-have in your tarot collection
If you like to collect tarot decks, this is one of the must-haves. However, if you only want to buy one deck, I have other recommendations. There are a few things positive about this deck: 1. the card are thick and solid, it will last; 2. the art and its colour (Mustard and Purple) are simple and beautiful and you have got the golden edge for the price paid. 3. It is the perfect size for shuffling and carry around. 4. the booklet comes with it is informative though brief (I have already got Bright Esselmont's tarot Ultimate Guide so it doesn't really bother me). The only thing I don't like about it is the cards kinda stick together when shuffling (something need to notice by manufacturer). Another thing is the box comes with it is not convenient to use to store the card, you might need to get your own tarot container to carry this deck. Overall, highly recommend this deck especially for beginners and self-reading.

Loved it
I didn't expect that I loved this deck so much. I've read some reviews that it's not easy to shuffle, less colour makes us confused and easy to recognize upright / reverse, etc.But over all, I found that it's a really good deck!! It's not matt, it's not too glossy. Actually it's not slippery and it may makes not easy to shuffle, but not that bad all at. I really love the size, it makes sooooooooo easy to shuffle to smaller hands like me. It's a right size, not too small and decent. This square-ish size makes me easy to turn the direction in my hands when I shuffle, so that easy to mixing up upright and reverse. Feeling so good in my hands!I really love the edging gold colour as well. So gorgeous!! I love the combination of purple, white and gold so much and I love this artworks as well. There's no scary card yet follows very well Rider-Wait tarot. I'm a beginner and it makes me easy to learn!Personally I wouldn't mind the case. Come on it's really a reasonable deck and I think this magnet box is really good. I love the small booklet as well!! It's very straight forward and well explained! I'm amazed.I only wish the foggy artwork on the back doesn't exist so that I don't recognize upside down. But, it doesn't really a matter. I assume that the artist meant to draw that, so I respect that! I understand that it makes a mystical feeling in fact.I would buy this deck again if it's damaged or anything. I usually don't prefer too fancy, scary, gothic, photo oriented, extreme, complicated, and fairy artworks. I love simple clear and beautiful. I would recommend this deck to anyone who love simplicity, purple, gold, and have small hands.Thank you for making this wonderful deck!!
