Great little lathe
Great little lathe, I’ve had a couple of issues with the feet and the chuck but the company has been fantastic and sent me new ones without any issues free of charge. If you’re looking to try a pen mandrel I did find one that works with this little lathe. ArtyMaster MT1 Wood Lathe Pen Mandrel Turning Tools, Pen Making Kits for Wood Lathe. You do have to cut about 3/4 of an inch off and you can only turn one piece at a time but it does work well. I also made a crochet hook for my wife on it . I provided some pictures of some things I made on it

Not user friendly
Not user friendly. It does work well for its size. Not very well made. You have to constantly adjust and tighten everything. You definitely get what you pay for

Perfect for inlay ring lathe
The chuck is only 6mm width so it’s limited, photos show it’s larger but it isn’t, get the extras adapter to control speed, I use this to create Inlay rings and it’s a inexpensive tool that’s perfect for it.
