Super excited when I saw this and snapped it up! We LOVE waffles and pancakes so this was a no brainer to make cute and delish mini waffles! We have a full size waffle maker like this. I wanted this one for variety and my mom likes frozen waffles...expensive to buy in the store as prices have gone up on so much stuff now a days! I can do big batches quickly and easily at home and freeze them, she can pop them into the toaster oven then and enjoy them whenever she wants! I like to have fun when making them too. You can buy a bulk bag of real bacon crumbles at Walmart, then drop a bit into each waffle when you load the batter. You can do fruits too! I'm allergic to red food dye, so I have to do real homemade stuff a lot like my own strawberry puree' and be very careful reading food labels for everything I buy at the store. Or how about your own homemade chicken N waffles! Or how about some waffles and ice cream! Or how about mini pizzas on waffles! Or one of my kids favs, waffled french toast! LOL! That one I use the full size waffle maker for as a slice of bread perfectly fits. So as cool as this little gaget is, in this day and age they really should/could have made this with plates for both pancakes and waffles that could simply be removed, turned over and inserted. No excuse for not doing mthat aside from they want you to have to spend more money and buy both. Well space is at a premium in our kitchen, so 1 device that could do both would be worth more to me to save space. But as this is it's a great little mini waffle maker. Super easy to use as you can use any pancake batter in it, it cooks fast so don't walk away and it's easy to clean too as it just wipes clean being nonstick! It would be great fun to get your kids involved too! Have a waffle making party! But whatever you do, have fun with it! Also these are tiny waffles about the size of a silver dollar. Regular price $ 35.99 per the listing and there's a 10% off coupon. As much as I'll use this item, I find the pricepoint too high. This is the type of little appliance you can get at Walmart for $10-$20.00. In fact they have what looks like a nice one with 6 diff interchangable plates for $50.99, in my mind that's a better value for the variety I can use it to cook. So on this one watch for sales/coupons, browse listings... to find the best deal for what works for you. As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I was a little apprehensive when I got the box and it showed a different waffle maker than the mini waffles, but I opened it up and it was the mini waffle makers I ordered, woo! I tested it out with basic waffles, though I am going to be experimenting with all manner of waffle varieties (matcha, ube, chocolate, savory and sweet, the opportunities are endless) I love that they make small waffles, mine were super messy because precision is hard, but the waffles cooked up quickly and evenly, and they are super tasty! It is super easy, you just plug it in, wait for it to heat up, pour the battle and seal up, then in a few minutes you have waffles. Cleaning is fairly easy, I wish I could remove the waffle plates to give them a really good scrubbing, but I can manage, just know that cleaning can be difficult if you make some super messy waffles.

This waffle maker makes 8 little 2 inch round waffles. Perfect for little kids when eating a full size waffle is daunting! The wells are not that thick, but I was successful in making blueberry waffles. Have a good silicone brush or toothbrush on hand for cleaning. Unfortunately you can't take the plates off to submerge/wash, but the batter doesn't seem to stick too much when you put too much in the well and its gushes out-just use a brush a paper towel to clean up!
