Headlamps with solid brackets require a workaround.
I just received 2 new bands. They would be super easy to use on my Princeton that has openings in its brackets. So, if that’s your case I’d rate them a 5. For me they will require lots of thinking and maybe getting out my sewing machine. So, I first gave them a 1 for not explaining what I’m going to show you. Photos 1 and 2 show how the strap brackets on my Princeton ( left) have a “slice” opening through which the middle of a strap can be inserted. The Weltool is perfect for such lamps. However, The middle Tikka XP and right Petzel are older and their brackets are solid. They were factory-threaded with a cut end and the plastic end was added later, I guess. So, all I can figure is to cut the Weltool and thread it on and loop it through the plastic piece left from the old strap. In photo 3 the orange paper shows where the original Princeton strap is sewn. The two pink papers are where the Weltool is permanently clamped to each end of the strap. Separate issue: Photo 4 has a pink line showing where the silicon is located in the Weltool. It seems like a poor location since that is the only “adjustable” part of the strap. All the silicon inside the loop is lost for use when adjusted for my head size. I haven’t yet figured out how to cut, thread, and sew the Weltool. And, yes, I could also cut the brackets. Update: the company contacted me in response to this review and suggested I make the strap into one strip (which I was able to now figure out—the smaller end can be tilted sideways to pass through the slot in the bigger end.) and try passing it through my lamp openings—but they are too small. However in doing that I figured out how to change the strap configuration so that the silicon is not in the loop. Yay! The pink papers show where the ends are attached. See my last photo. Now I just need to saw/cut my lamp openings. Final update. The company contacted me again and asked to use my photos in their product description to show what kinds of headlamps the straps will and WILL NOT work on. They also gave me a full refund for my two straps even though I told them I was going to try to make them work and would be keeping them. The second-to-last photo shows my two lamps after my husband cut the brackets to allow the straps to pass through. The TIKKA suffered from too little precision with the bench grinder but the strap will still work. The Petzel did better being nipped with sidecutters. The final photo shows the piece I saved from one of the old headbands. Another workaround that wouldn’t require cutting the lamp bracket would be to cut off the smaller end piece of the new strap, thread it through the lamp brackets and strap and sew it to itself at the end. You’ll have to figure out the correct route😀. Anyway, I changed my rating from 1 star to 5 because the company made their “MOST headlamps” description more clear by showing which ones will require a workaround like I’ve done. I like the straps and I’m happy to have my lamps usable again.

My Fenix and I are so happy!
I’ve got an older Fenix HL30 that I use extensively in the garage because it’s compact, and doesn’t have an external battery pack to annoy me when laying under a vehicle. The strap has been junk for years, so I figured it was time to look for a replacement headlamp. Low and behold I stumbled across this replacement strap, and have just installed it ( took maybe 5 minutes). So much better! This is the exact width of my old Fenix strap, and has a cool non-slip strip that should help keep it in place. Going to have to get another as a spare for my camping headlamps.

Fit perfect on Black Diamond head lamp
Ordered to replace the head band on my 5-6 year old Black Diamond head lamp. The new Weltool headband easily attached to the head lamp and looks and works great. Like that it has a grip strip on the inside to help keep the lamp secure on your head. Do not know the durability right now as it is brand new, but appears to be a well made elastic band.

Good replacement (with a bit of creativity) for old Black Diamond
My 15 year old old black diamond headlamp still works great, but the elastic was stretched out of shape. My headlamp has the battery in the back, with a strap over the top of the head for support. I was unable to find a replacement from Black Diamond (they offered a discount on a new headlamp) or anywhere else. I saw another review of this headband indicating it wouldn't work with the same Black Diamond, so I was hesitant. I had to get my dremel tool out and cut a small opening in the battery slots to install the new headband. The new strap is slightly wider than the old one, so it is a snuck fit. I had to get creative to attach the top strap. On the Black Diamond, the top strap connects to the battery case. The slot is thin plastic, so I didn't think a cut to slide the new strap in was a good option. So I attached the top strap to the headband in front of the battery instead. The old strap held the battery cover in place, so I'll now have to be careful to not lose it. Time will tell on the durabilty, but it is nice to revive my old headlamp.

Good
Good product. I replaced the band on an older Petzl light with it.

It's a bit of a hassle to attach but worth it.
I have had my Petzl headlamp for about 6 years and it works great (even though I had to tape the case a bit after dropping it). But the headband stretched to a point when I had to tie it in a knot, which wasn't very convenient. I didn't see the point to replace perfectly working lamp so I decided to look for a replacement headband. Weltool Durable Elastic Headband Replacement Elastic Strap is great! It's got just the right stretch in it and I love the silicon strip and reflective markings. It took me awhile to attach it to the lamp because my Petzl has a closed frame, but I managed! It took about an hour because I did it wrong the first time and had to undo it and start again. The pictures from other reviews helped a lot.

Does Not Replace All Black Diamond Products
If you have an older Black Diamond headlamp with a battery pack connected to the headlamp instead of a battery inside the headlamp, this product will not work. I gave it a three because the construction of the straps looks good and it probably fits newer Black Diamond headlamps. The description says "some" Black Diamond headlamps so be sure you know what you are buying. The real problem is with Black Diamond who clearly did not expect their headlamp to outlive the straps.

Prodotto molto valido

High quality materials and construction
This was a fantastic replacement headband. Very high quality elastic material. Sturdy clips. A nice, tacky strip in the middle of the band to help it stay put on your head. Also comes with the 'over the head' strap which you can remove of you want. Better than the OEM headbands on my Petzls. I bought 2 and put both my Petzl headlamps back into service. However, my older Petzl lights had to be slightly modified to be able to thread the new band through the plastic guides. You need to carefully cut a small slot in the middle of the guide., and then slide the band through this slot. Works perfectly. See pic. Use either a thin hacksaw blade or melt a slot with a hot utility knife blade.

Impeccable
