These gel ice packs get incredibly cold and, more importantly, stay cold for a long time. I purchased them when I was dealing with severe sciatic nerve pain, and they provided much-needed relief when nothing else seemed to help. The packs remain flexible enough to wrap comfortably around my lower back, and the soft exterior makes them comfortable to wear even during longer treatment sessions. Having two packs is also a huge plus since I can keep one in the freezer while using the other. This is my second set I still use the first once but unfortunately needed more. This is my life saver. I use them several times a day and I can use it when driving because it comfortably. I do wrap a light weight towel around it so it it’s not too cold for longer use
