I wanted an inexpensive soundbar without a subwoofer that sounded significantly better than my Samsung TV speakers and this is good, FOR THE PRICE. That is an important consideration when evaluating this speaker. I have owned a Vizio and lower end LG soundbar with a subwoofer, as well as a complete Klipsch surround system that was over $1500. If you want a bass rattling subwoofer for your tv, please pay at least double or significantly more than what this one cost or your soundbar will likely not significantly improve your movie and tv experience. The Good: In most cases action scenes sound great! FOR THE PRICE the sounds are not muffled like a tv speaker and have good clarity. The system sounds best at medium to medium-high volume. You can get a richer sound at a lower volume level than other similarly priced soundbars. Mid bass sounds full and occasionally you will even feel a hint of rumble in your body. There is no low bass rumble effect, but again action scenes usually sound full and impactful considering the small size of the speakers in this soundbar. The surround sound effect DOES NOT SOUND LIKE AN ECHO, which is great. It does make the sound fill the room more and is more immersive considering it is just a stereo setup. The room I listen to in is 12x18 feet and I sit about 8 -9 feet from the tv. In this case the sound seems to fill the room nicely. The dialogue, especially with dialogue mode (which doesn't seem to diminish the surround sound effect), is pretty good most of the time. (note: I have some hearing damage from when I was a child, but do not need hearing aids and I am in my 40's. take that into consideration for dialogue.) If you have hearing aids or significant hearing problems, perhaps consider a more expensive setup with a center channel speaker. It also sounded great with games on my PS5. The Bad: The remote is tiny and the buttons are hard to push. There is a $12 replacement remote where the buttons are easier to press on Amazon. Will not sync with your TV remote. Music highs in movies and songs I streamed on PS5 can cause distortion at higher volume levels. Turning off surround sound effect till it is over helps this some. You could also lower the volume level as well. SUMMARY: Again I emphasize FOR THE PRICE (I paid $130, if you can get it for even less it would be a steal!) this is a fantastic sounding speaker if you don't want or need base rumble, and want to hear dialogue more clearly and have a more immersive experience than TV speakers alone provide. If you can afford it and don't mind the floor space of a subwoofer, or even rear speakers, please read reviews for much pricier and better sounding and even more immersive sound systems. But FOR THE PRICE this is a significant upgrade for your tv. Please moderate expectations to its cost and you will be happier with your purchase!

I had just purchased a Klipsch surround sound set of speakers for my living room TV and really like them. My bedroom TV is smaller and I just didn't think a surround sound system was a good fit for the TV or the space so I found this Klipsch sound bar. I did have to scootch the TV to fit the bar in front of it on the stand, but other than that, it set up really well and then I turned on the TV and the sound from this Klipsch sound bar was like a whole other experience. The TV itself has an excellent picture, but now it also has excellent sound! For the price, for the ease of set up and the sound, this Klipsch is an excellent choice!

It was terrible, the first thing I noticed is it was used before, the digital port was so messed up I couldn't even plug it in.

First complaint to Klipsch. Why is this the nicest individual soundbar that you sell separate? I have a 12" sub I do not need to pay $400 for a better soundbar with an 8" sub I have no use for. And this soundbar, I have hooked up to an awesome system with a headphone cable. Why? Because you put the HDMI connection on the one with the 8" throwaway sub. I don't like wasting $120 for no reason sorry. So here I am with a 4k setup and this center channel hooked up via analog because the amp doesn't have a digital out only in. Your other soundbars have HDMI connections ugh. Ok so this soundbar, if you are using direct from the TV it would be an improvement, and for the money it's really good value. It looks good and sounds pretty good. There is an internal rattle from it though as others have said, not sure how that passed QA but you will hear less than 1% of the time, not often. For the money I would say this is great. But is this great? No, I would happily pay $200 or $300 for a soundbar from Klipsch that was better, but those all come with subwoofers. I use this for my PC setup and it goes below a monitor, so getting a bigger speaker would mean I have to raise 3 monitors up above eye level, or put it below my desk, this allows a speaker without blocking the monitors, so had to be soundbar. But I do research on the net and use my receiver to play web stuff through the speakers so I had to use the analog ugh. Please Klipsch separate your models. I understand you making "combo's" for people without an existing Sub, but need to consider those that don't need a sub or already have a better one, they have no need for these combos! There is a really nice HDMI soundbar for $400 but it comes with a subwoofer, not separate....
