Book was in excellent condition & you get lost in the photos.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my mom and she LOVED IT. I might want to grab a copy for myself. Buying these types of books online is always a hit and miss because you don’t know the quality etc. but this was a HIT!

This is simply one of the most beautifully produced affordable art books ever made. It is not the definitive study of Kahlo’s work but is an excellent study of the beautiful persona she created from a tortured life and is lushly illustrated. Mini portfolios on various Kahlo topics, like small books within the book are bound into it. You have to own it if you are a Kahlo fan

There was nothing to dislike. I don’t believe that anything about her was left out. The book was well put together, colorful and enjoyable. Fans of frida should make the book part of their frida collection. Fans and non fans alike will enjoy it. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves art and free expression. You won’t regret it!

Excellent book. Though much of information is available in other books about Frida Kahlo, the emphasis on her personal style was very interesting. She herself was a piece of art using clothing and jewelry as her paints and her body as a canvas. Highly recommended for Frida Kahlo fans.

Interesting and colorful look at items closeted away for 50 years by the wishes of Diego Rivera, her husband. Good coffee table book.

The book is very interesting and utilizes "insets" with additional photos and information. Unfortunately the book arrived damaged even though it was packed with airbags and the box was fine. It looks like it got knocked around in the box. I have received several books through Amazon and never had any damage issues.. I will return and ask for a replacement.

Very well researched book. Shows a completely different side to Kahlo’s art work, positing Kahlo herself as an artwork.

This book is perfect if you want just general written information about Frida Kahlo, but lots of photos of her artwork and clothing. I already had a huge novel about her life, but I wanted a book with coloured photos of her art work, clothes, personal items, et cetera. This book is what I wanted.

Lovely book that was written to accompany the making herself up exhibition. Very comprehensive and informative a lovely book for any Frida fan and a lovely book for a foyer or coffee table to look over. Good for inspiration for female artists and interesting read into the feminist agenda and unique character of Frida Kahlo.
