Works exactly as expected. Has a nice beep to wake me up in the morning

This item is exactly what I needed. Simple, built well, and works like what I needed. I have a smaller side table so I wanted a clock that wouldn't overwhelm the space. The alarm is loud enough to get me moving in the morning. Clock is what I wanted and the process was right.

Keeping excellent time. Cheaply made. For the price, I didn't expect more.

This clock is VERYYYYY tiny and has a barely audible electronic beep that I can easily sleep through. It had to be returned through the post office and a label printed and my printer wasn't working-so I ate this one! Don't buy this junk-go to an antique mall and buy a vintage West Clox or Lindt travel alarm clock made in Germany or USA-you will be happier with it! This clock is land fill.

Perfect for alternative to cell phone. I leave in my office.

I was looking for a small clock for the bathroom, and had this style in mind. They are not easy to find instore anymore, so I was happy to find this on Amazon and bought 2 'just in case'. It's what you expect, small & lightweight, clear display, some ticking but not too loud. Time is still accurate on both clocks after running for a month. Thinking of taking the spare on trips as it really doesn't add much to the luggage.

Love these clocks. Have used them for a good while. Have older truck and fit on the dash perfectly! Thanks

Der Casio Wecker weckt mich seit über 6 Jahren ohne Probleme immer pünktlich ;-). Mein "Langzeittest" ergibt folgendes: ************** Vorteile: ************** + Weckton ist laut genug (habe den Ton noch nie überhört) + Gute Qualität (der schwarze ist nun seit 6 Jahren im Einsatz und zeigt noch keine Schwäche) + Im dunkeln sind die Ziffern auf dem Nacht-Tisch gut abzulesen, ohne dass sie blenden. (durch meinen alten Radiowecker mit leuchtenden Ziffern konnte ich damals kaum ein Auge zudrücken!) + Eine einzige günstige handelsübliche AA / Große Batterie hält ewig! (Kann mich nicht erinnern, wann ich die zuletzt durch neue ersetzt habe!) + Wecker lässt sich einfach anschalten, indem man den Hebel oben nach außen zieht (Beispiel: der schwarze Wecker auf dem 2. Bild ist an, der weiße ist aus) + Kann man auch gut in einem Hotel oder einer Ferienwohnung mit nehmen (Uhr nimmt keinen großen Platz im Reisekoffer oder der Tasche weg) ************** Nachteile: ************** - Keine Schlummerfunktion, womit der Wecker in z.B. 5 Minuten nochmal klingelt falls man noch nicht aufstehen möchte (habe mir mitlerweile einen zweiten bestellt, der 15 Minuten später klingeln soll) - Weckt manchmal ungenau, wenn man eine ungerade Weckzeit wählt (Ist mir letztens bei ungeraden Weckzeiten aufgefallen. Seitdem stelle ich den "Weckzeit-Zeiger" nur noch auf gerade Zeiten und ein paar Millimeter vorher) - Auch wenn man es im dunkeln noch ablesen kann.. Nach mehreren Jahren ließ die Leuchtkraft ein wenig nach. Ist mir aber nur aufgefallen, als ich einen neuen gekauft und daneben gestellt habe. (Bewertung zuletzt aktualisiert: Januar 2018. Der schwarze Wecker wurde im Herbst 2011 über Amazon bestellt. Der weiße ist aktuell nur wenige Monate alt) **************** Fazit: ***************** Absolute Kaufempfehlung.. Günstig, aber dennoch gut! Werde ich mir wieder kaufen.

I had a similar alarm clock to this one (not a Casio one though - if I remember right I got it from Wilkinsons!) but it got broken recently when I accidentally knocked it off my bedside table and it totally fell apart. So, I needed another alarm clock and decided to get this one because a) it seemed compact and functional, without unnecessary functions that I would rarely, if ever use, b) I prefer this 'normal' type of alarm clock to the digital ones, c) Casio is a well known brand and c) it wasn't over-priced! It arrived this morning and I'm so happy with it! It's exactly as it looks in the photo (the black one), although the green numbers and the tips of the hands are much brighter than depicted in the photo. The green almost looks fluorescent so I'm sure I will be able to see the time in the dark! The clock is a really nice size - compact but not too small - and it seems quite substantial. It came with a battery which I popped in, not necessarily expecting it to work as I thought it could be an old one, but it works fine. To set the time and the alarm, there's a little button / dial at the back. To set the alarm just turn that and set it to the right time. Then pull the little slider thingy on top of the clock up and the alarm is set (push the slider down to turn the alarm off). To set the time just pull that button out a bit and turn it to get the right time setting. When you've set the time, just push the button back in to the original position. The alarm is nice and clear and not startlingly loud, thank god, but loud enough to wake most people up unless perhaps they're the kind of sleeper who is almost totally dead to the world when they're asleep but the alarm should even wake them up! This is just perfect for me - a well priced, nice quality, straightforward, functional, compact and nice looking little clock! I don't see the point in wasting money on bigger, clunky, more 'hi-tech' and costly alarm clocks, especially the digital ones with all the stupid settings that I would hardly, if ever, use anyway. This one is great and it seems like it should last me for quite awhile unless, of course, I knock it off the bedside table like I did with my last alarm clock and it falls apart! I'll be more careful in future though!
