Lower Quality than the Microsoft Wheel Mouse
I bought two of these Microsoft Basic Mice because the Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical is no longer available.I have more than 10 of the Wheel Mouse in my home office, which I absolutely love, IMHO the best mouse ever made.I decided to give them a try but these Basic Mice are quite inferior to the Wheel Mouse.- So light in weight that the cord moves the mouse around (glue some weights into it Microsoft!)- Not as comfortable as the Wheel Mouse (smaller and rounder)- Inferior buttons click to the Wheel Mouse (loud cheap click)- Inferior scroll wheel to the Wheel Mouse (not as smooth)I will be looking for some new-old-stock Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical units on eBay again instead of using these Basic Mice.

Bulky but it works like it should
I like that it is black and doesn't show dirt, Too light for my comfort, It flies around not alot of weight.Bought it to replace a previous mouse that was showing it's age.I am happy with the new Microsoft Mouse though.I would recommend it to anyone who wants a decent mouse on a budget

Not as good as the older model!
Not like the older Microsoft Basic model, this one's click buttons make WAY too much noise and is not soft to click.
