Easy to Use - Update: April 24. Unfortunately, the yogurt maker temperature malfunctioned
Easy to use. Fermented dairy has perfect texture and taste every time. Be aware that the temperature is in Celsius so be prepared to convert to Fahrenheit. Update: April 24. Yogurt maker stopped working on the temperature side.

Died after only 4 months
Worked fine for 4 months and then died. Electronics still functional, but heating element dead. Outside of return window so total waste of money.

It works for L-ruterii yoghurt
I use it for L-ruterii yoghurt. It works if you are careful to choose the 34/36 setting. Turn 34 up to 37 and simply confirm the 36. On another setting it quits even though you alter the numbers. I don’t know how long this will last, but it works now—one quart at a time.

Very satisfied!
Great appliance. Love the different temperature and time settings that are also manually adjustable! Made L.Reuteri yogurt perfectly. Comes with a foreign plug. You will need an adapter or fit a new plug before use.

How do I return something that’s not functioning after a month
It stopped working after the fourth time. I’d like a refund please. I mean it turns on, but it doesn’t heat at all. It’s not warm anymore. I didn’t realize that the last time I thought I made the yogurt wrong. But this time it’s not even warm I noticed. I would not buy this, although it was really a lot of fun the first month. It’s just a piece of junk to throw out. They don’t really give you an option to return it after 30 days so it’s cheaper to just go by your yogurt instead of buying this piece of crap.

Super easy when you figure out the right formula. Only 5 minutes of your time for a big batch
Tips: For yogurt use whole milk, not the 2% stuff. After experimenting, use 41 degrees, and 8 hrs for yogurt. You must heat the milk to 80 degrees, then let it cool down to 40 degrees, then add starter, and THOROUGHLY mix it. I tried skipping the heating part, and on one batch I didn't mix enough, both batches were not that good. The starter yogurt must be pretty fresh, because the bacteria die pretty quickly. Natto is trickier. I soak overnight, then use InstantPot for 30 minutes, then 39 degrees for 24 hrs. Best starter is commercial natto (or previous batch). I tried spores and it was a total failure. You can tell if the batch is successful by how sticky it is.

Not As Advertised
This is a case of the manufacturer thinking they know more than the customer...and being totally wrong about it. This device only reads in Celcius...not Fahrenheit. It makes roughly 2 cups at a time. It has three settings...yogurt, rice, and natto. The problem with these settings is you almost have no adjustment on temperature and length of time. For example, I bought this to make l. reuteri yogurt. To make l. reuteri yogurt you need 36 hours at 99°F. Well, the yogurt setting and rice setting are too hot and will not let you lower the temperature. The natto setting is perfect for temperature but the machine refuses to let you set the machine for 36 hours. So, one setting lets you adjust temperature but not time, another lets you do the opposite, but the developers didn't ever exercise common sense to allow users to simply adjust time and temperature as needed. Then, there is the matter of such a small container when some yogurt recipes can take 48 hours. This machine is definitely not as advertised.
