Slendertone Abs Gel Pads (3 Sets)

My first FLEX BELT worked fine for 1 WHOLE YEAR. Then the batteries ran out (couldn't be recharged again) The batteries came in a pack like a cordless phone uses but there was NO INFORMATION on how to obtain a replacement. Upon further investigation on 'various' slendertone webpages, I found that a new battery pack could be had for $10.00 Later that option was cancelled (except in Canada!) and the only replacement batteries available cost at least $40.00. This year 2013, I bought a new model flex-belt that used NORMAL AAA batteries so I thought this would solve my previous problem (replacement battery SCAM) but my current belt has lasted about 3 months but now mysteriously shuts itself off after about thirty seconds even thought the batteries are still good. Thus I'm now going to have to inquire about repair or replacement. In the meantime, my tummy muscles are going without this help full "therapy" (a recent back injury precludes my doing conventional exercises)

Bianca is almost a good heroine. She's tough, she's strong, she's a good best friend. But when life gets a little too real for her, she finds a way to escape the s*** storm one tryst at a time. Ignoring her life at home and the problems she doesn't know how to deal with, she falls into an arrangement with Wesley, the school playboy. But can he save her? Can he help her save herself? I'm going to start this review saying that I liked this book. However, I didn't think that it was a good book, if that makes sense. Bianca would be a great heroine if a.) she didn't push away her friends (who were clearly trying to be there for her) in favor of having escape sex with a guy she didn't even like and b.) she didn't sleep with a guy who she thought (even if it turned out not to be true) didn't give a crap about her and was actually kind of an ass to her and used her in an attempt to get play from her hotter friends. Like, really? We're going to sleep with that guy? Even though I did end up liking Wesley in the end, it was just a little tough for me to swallow. Especially because his DUFF comment about her sent her into a downward self esteem spiral and caused her to have some serious body issues. The book is very character driven as opposed to event driven. You spend the entire novel in Bianca's head and it's not exactly a good place to be. Everything felt circular, we kept coming back to the same things which got boring for me after a while. The book placed most of the focus on her relationship with Wesley and skirted around her relationships with her father, mother, and friends which made the story seem juvenile and less interesting. Plus, I felt the characterization was off. Especially during the fight with her father. We weren't given any indications on how he acted as an alcoholic at all during the novel until he had the blowout fight with Bianca and then it was overkill. I would have liked to see evidence of his alcoholism affecting his personality before the big fight. It seemed like the build up was non-existent. Whereas, the relationship with Wesley was lavished upon and you could see the development as the story progressed. Basically, this book focused on a teen romance amidst a plethora of greater storylines ripe for the telling that were ignored. And while I enjoy a good book about teen love, I don't like a good book that doesn't explore the whole picture outside of the love story. I liked it, but then again, I didn't. I finished it in a few hours and it kept my attention, but I didn't really get a positive feeling from it upon finishing- just an unsettling one.

Oem product. Works as it should

This three pack including 9 gels total is the best value I'm aware of for purchasing replacement gels. It is possible, as other reviews have indicated to prolong the life of your gels with alcohol-based cleansers. Nevertheless, you will eventually need to replace the gels for maximal results (recommended is 20 sessions). These replacement gel pads work well. I haven't experienced the problems that the other reviewers speak of with the gels not adhering to the belt appropriately. I purchased direclty from Amazon.com. Make sure you are getting genuine Slendertone and in my experience you'll be alright. The threepack at the time of writing this review makes each set cost just over $6. This is about half the price of the currently listed one-pack. I use the Abs Toner multiple times a day while I am working at my desk, so it is good to be able to have low-cost high-quality replacement gels.

Exactly What I need

Ok, So I tried to save and instead of buying locally I took a chance and bought through Amazon two sets of these (total of 6 pads sets). Delivery fine, service ok. But the product - totally mixed feelings. Out of 6 packages, 2 of them were damaged: [...] [...] [...] [...] As You see, damaged were the individual items, paper wrapping was untouched - so the assumption is that either during the wrapping, or after the production damage occurs. The Murhpies law would assume that they are being sold in bulk due to the damaged packages included... but lets quit allegations and get to the facts. All of them are till 12-2015 so I took the one with biggest whole. Pads where dry (compared to those in original package with belt), I mean, really dry. During the separation with plastic stuff I had to be really careful Gel not to peel off as well. Original pads are with really thick gel, that when you touch you feel it, the original gel colour is greyish, the one here was transparent so much, that it was black. It was good that I had some electrode gel so I put to keep it moist. And what about performance, some things are noticeable straightaway: 1. They burn like hell in few spots. I assume that this is because they are dry. 2. After First usage it seems that they work better than old - but the old were already used much 3. I will give update how much they held. i have a routine of once/twice a day stimulation. Robert

Not sure why the "used" priced item was listed as used, as the packaging was unopened. Perhaps this is how they repackage returns (the cardboard branded clam shell the three packages came in were sealed/unopened). These pads are the real Slendertone pads, like those that came with my Flex Belt. I'm applying the Purell tip (to keep the pads moist) every other day to see if it'll extend the life of the pads. Save some money and get the "used" price pads. The price does fluctuate - I grabbed a set of 3 when they dropped down to under $20, Prime eligible. MARCH 2013 UPDATE: I'm still using the first set of pads from this 3-set replacement purchase. Applying the hand sanitizer (like Purell) after every other use has allowed this first set to last +60 days of use - and still going! I do believe the intensity has decreased a little over time, compared to when new. But, I have yet to open the second set of pads. Keep your pads moist and they'll keep goin' and goin'.

depuis plusieurs années j'utilise ce type de patch pour ma ceinture je n'ai jamais été déçu par contre il est important à chaque utilisation de le remettre au réfrigérateur afin que cela dure plus longtemps dans le temps

Es un buen producto imprescindible si utilizas el cinturón abdominal de slendertone... Buena oferta al comprar un pack de 3...ahorras alrededor de 15 euros.
