Nakamura loves a boy in his class--now he just has to keep himself together! Nakamura is a shy boy who falls in love at first sight with another boy--his dreamy high school classmate Hirose. But there's a problem: they haven’t met yet. And Nakamura is a total klutz who might bungle things before they even begin! In this endearing Boy’s Love comedy about the trials of high school, follow Nakamura’s hilarious attempts to cling to happiness. Review: Fun and sweet! - This was such a fun and sweet book! I loved the characters personalities. The chapters were all funny and light hearted. It was such a cute little romance! I have one down side but it's spoilers so don't read further if you don't want a spoiler! * * * * * * * * * * * * I would've rather it been a true romance that continues and is actualized. Instead it was just pining throughout the whole book. It was such a nice innocent gay story, and was a more realistic version of being gay than yaoi and boys love manga usually are. But because of it, there's that sort of fear of "What will he think when he finds out I'm gay?" "Will he like me back if I confess or will he dislike me for being gay?". Because of this I would've liked it to move all the way to confession, because that weight could've been lifted. It sounds like this is going to be the only volume (i.e. this isn't volume one, but the complete story) which is why I added this. If it were to continue, then I understand and am happy with it building slowly and not having gotten to confession quiet yet. Review: Very cute - This is a really lovely story. It makes me think of the development of BL manga over the years, back when Tokyo Pop was the biggest manga distributor in the US. The style is like a modernized take on early 90s styles of manga, like you'd see drawn by Rumiko Takahashi. The characters are sweet but they're more than hollow archetypes. You really feel for poor Nakamura and want to see him make some progress with Hirose, and even just interact with others. It's a fun and light read so definitely pick it up.

Really dang cute, love the art style!
(Spoiler free) God, I like this book. It's cheesy, but you kinda get the feeling that the author is self-aware about it. And there's some genuinely sweet moments too that I didn't expect, but really enjoyed. The characters aren't really "developed" so to speak, but they're DEFINITELY lovable. The art has an "old" manga feel to it that really translated well into a newer style. Overall it's a simple, cute story with an unexpected ending that I really like. Coming from a person that is really picky about their manga, this is worth a read. :]

A lovely comedy series and a mangaka that I will definitely keep my eye on!
This is so cute and very nostalgic, seeing as how it has that Ranma 1/2 feel to it. Its so sweet and brought a smile to my face. All the characters are so nicely introduced to you and very likeable right off the bat. Of course since its just the first volume, the romance is not there yet but will obviously get there without a doubt. If you like comedy, sweet, pure feelings, I highly recommend this book. Syundei sensei has won a fan! I will be rooting for him and this very lovely series he has created. I enjoyed it so much I read it three times wishing the second volume would somehow magically appear already!

If you are interested in this book, Go for it!
This is very heartwarming to me as Nakamura has a crush on his classmate Hirose. Nakamura didn’t have any friends back then and people from his childhood would say cruel things when he started to talk about the things he likes . Like having a love for Octopi, some people may find them kind of gross from what was shown in this manga. And Nakamura has a difficult time socializing with Hirose. Even though he has a crush on him , he first wants to find a way to become his friend first which what becomes the whole part of the manga, finding a way to become his friend first. I found some parts of what when on some situations very funny and I could really relate to Nakamura when it comes to having a difficult time speaking out the things you love or the conversations you wanna have with a certain person. Though in the end Hirose tells Nakamura he likes him better when he is able to talk freely because throughout the chapters it looked like Nakamura was holding back into talking and lying about some things. The book came undamaged and arrive really early; I love the book and I wish there was more of them and more of Nakamura trying to overcome a struggle.

A Really Sweet Slice of Life BL Manga
As a product, Go For It, Nakamura! is an easy 5 stars. It came in time, had zero dents or scratches, and all the pages appear to be printed correctly. As for the book, it's absolutely adorable. First things first, the art style is simply fantastic. I have a lot of nostalgia for 90's anime and manga's style and this hits that hard for me. The story is a slow burn slice of life romance that is unfortunately, only a one shot. For those unfamiliar with the term, it essentially means that it's a self contained volume which is sad given the volume ends with *lowkey spoilers* a great start at Nakamura and Hirose's growing friendship. The book is a fun ride with you really starting to understand the title about 7 chapters in and it just makes you want to scream "Go for it, Nakmura!"

I love it
This story is so innoncently cute and pure! The main character is head over heels for his classmate and tries to get closer to him, while also being kinda jealous of his teacher since he is being admired by his crush. It's an heartwarming tale that needs to be read by everyone who adores bl
