It sprays on white, I personally like their clear spray on, it can go right over my makeup mid day. Look for “ Sun Bum Original SPF 45 Sunscreen Face Mist”

Can the spray be applied to face?

Yes I use it everywhere. I usually spray it onto my hand and apply it to the face though so I don’t get it into my kids eyes.
